Nordic Noir is grouse.

So true. Even the Seppos could not stuff up the remakes of The Killing and the Bridge. Both these shows are up with Treme and The Wire at the sharp end.

Re-watched The Wire recently.

Near the end of S1 the Wallace episode, still breaks me, IYKNK

Just about to re-start The Sopranos, that is still a benchmark for me. It actually gets better on subsequent viewings.

Find the same with Treme.

I gave a "haha" reaction to this post accidentally. I was reading my post that you'd quoted and thought I was "haha"ing at that post, forgetting that it was quoted in your post.

You can keep the "haha" though because you "haha"d at my post that you quoted.

...and the answer is yes. I am a rookie too. In fact, I'm more of a rookie than the actual season 34 rookies
You got me....

And you made me look though sausageroll - hahaha
So you're a rookie with 3 premierships and ranked 7th overall in the land of Sweet FA to boot....

Morning all! Thanks for the Netflix tips Grand Uncle Horace - much appreciated. Sadly I can't think of anything to add to this thread at this time so I'll be off - breakfast and playing with my mates in puddles awaits!

Watched the Sopranos for the first time during lockdown. Amazing. Everything you could want in a series.

Deadwood is fantastic!! Healthy doses of humour thrown in there, Wu is a classic.

Grand Uncle Horace I'll add treme to the list, it looks interesting. Not sure how I'll go imagining Bunk Moreland as anyone else though 🤣

So last week as we were lining up to take a piece out of the Dragons, I created a new estate in Spotswood to house any OOBs who wanted a home. Spotswood had very little in the way of housing, so I snipped off a bit of the massive suburb Waverley and reworked it as an extension of Spotswood. This rose into the hills known as the Waverley Glen Ridge, where Elton Johns Wig and Mrs Turbo (and by default also Tigerturbulance on those rare occasions he's allowed home) now have homes, and one of them has a pub there now, too.

Spotswood is in a remote corner of Sweet, and not very greatly built up. Nor is neighbouring Waverley for that matter. So, inspired by the work done in the new Heisenberg_ estate , I started to add a bit around the part of Waverley which abutted on this estate.

Mostly along Nandrolone Road, the region has now become less of a wilderness drive, and more of a sort of quaint hamlet feel. I'm happy to see the growth.

I remind #Team14 that Waverley is a large and open suburb, with much room to build, it has its own Sweet FA ground ready to go, since it was vacated by the Hawks slash Phoenix, and it even has its own massive takeaway restaurant, and a tavern.

And now it also has a budding Middle Nandrolone Estate, with a few residences and a couple of open-purpose commercial buildings as well.

Couldn't you have just built one multi-story cult building to house them all?
