Official Match Thread Season 35, Round 18 - Mount Buller Demons vs Coney Island Warriors @ Snow Dome

Frankly, it is a bit insulting I am having to write a match thread about my own club when we are sitting dead last on the ladder and wooden spoon winners after suffering a 12th loss of the season last week to the Sin City Swamprats. But, I will gladly do it - otherwise, Wosh would have that pleasure and I am a very nice person and would not want to be mean. The Coney Island Warriors have only lost 5 matches this, season none of which were either of the two wins that the Mount Buller Demons can boast about this season, so it is a bit of a dismal prospect for the Mount Buller Demons, isn't it? The Coney Island Warriors could not have wished for an easier match to send them into the final series. The first-placed side verse the side dead last. What an absolute thriller this match will be. okeydoke7 may not reach his 1,000th goal this week, but you may as well pencil in The Filth Wizard to tick over to 800. A new goal record may even be on the cards for The Filth Wizard.​

Head 2 Head Record:

This match will be the 25th game between the clubs, and the winner (pending the sim doesn't take the piss and hand a draw out) will break the deadlock of 12-12 for either side. Quite remarkably, the Home team has only won five of the 24 matches played so far. Bodes well for the Mount Buller Demons. It is all going well for them! cooney will be keen to put in a good performance, having played in all 24 matches so far against the Coney Island Warriors!
