I can recall watching Patrick Troughton in B&W... then I don't remember any McCoy, Colin Baker, maybe I was busy after Tom Baker?

Yeah, I was growing out of it during the Peter Davison era. Caught some of the Colin Baker stuff and I remember that it was exceptionally lame. I did collect the books. Another thing the first Mrs m kept.

I watched most of Tennant, Capaldi was brilliant, didn't like the writing when the Doc was a woman, script really let them down, picked it back up in her last season.

Yet to be convinced of the new guy, but happy to be back in the Universe.
