First thing I was taught as a rookie was to never.....ever accept an open beverage from a bombers player. Nice try, The Devil.
It was the first thing Test Tickle told me as well when I joined the Bears.

It was an amazing moment in history when you knocked down the very wall you helped build and set free all the SFA players.

It reminds me of how many famous moments in history SFA players have been apart of.
Amelia Earhart might be known as the first female to fly solo across the Atlantic. In 1937 she went missing attempting to fly around the world. But little did people know there was somebody else on board that day.

Tony managed to survive the crash, stealing the only parachute on board.

But to this day he has declared war on the aviation industry. Still mourning the loss of his sweet Amelia. Affectionately known as 'Lady Lindy'

Has anybody else been apart of some memorable moments in time?

I was most upset about losing the 100 packets of pasta I smuggled onto the plane that day.

Who could forget Kilroy & Pugsley being the first man and dog to walk on the Moon.

I was going to try and somehow link Pugsley to the dog from to kill a Mockingbird because the dog was rabid. So I decided to investigate. Turns out the moral of the whole book, in particular what the rabid dog actually symbolises and what Atticus did went straight over my head. I had first started reading the book when I was 16. Then just picked it up 10 yrs later and read a bit more. Then another few years I finished it. Your sleep apnoea and lack of ability to breath has not caused you to become rabid so I apologise.

In another 10 years you'll pick up the bits about the zombie cacti.

As an aside I love To Kill A Mockingbird , and CursingFijian , Chipmunk and por_please_ya will appreciate how SCOUT was once one of my go-to 2nd words in wordle , and the joy I felt when it came up last year

It was one of our Year 9 texts for our class and I read it multiple times. It will always remind me of my late English teacher who was incredibly passionate about the story.

Cool fact - her daughter is a reasonably famous actress who named her daughter (my late teacher’s Granddaughter) Scout!

Also, don't talk to imaginary friends.

Your secret is safe with me

But since you shared it, here’s one of my own that is reading related - I am working towards a home library at the new place.

The deposit for the shelves is in
Now to wait

It means I can go back to buying books again after being heavily reliant on public libraries over the last few years for space reasons
