It's not as big in the USA as it is in Australia. It's not a long weekend and they're doubling up with contradictory celebrations today.
Hardly any chocolate easter eggs in any shops. And most Easter eggs sold here have a hard candy shell or are made of peanut butter.

What an Album Bat Out Of Hell was in it’s day. A masterpiece. I can still listen to it and appreciate it.

I bought my first ever record player second hand from one of my parents' friends when I was a teenager. He gave me Bat out of Hell as part of th deal.
Bat out of Hell and Paradise By the Dashboard Light became instant favouries.

Paradise By the Dashboard Light is also the best karaoke duet song ever if you ever happen to be there with someone of the opposite sex who knows it.

I was just reading that

Yep. We have friends coming over tomorrow (Sunday over here) and thtey have a young son. We went shopping for Easter eggs and really struggled. What you saw in the article ispretty much what we were limited to.
We got some M&Ms in egg shaped cover, small Lindt easter eggs, a Lindt bunny and something like a kinder surprise Easter egg.

At least I still get Australian public holidays recognised at work so it's still a long weekend for me
