As a non car racing person - what's the difference between an exciting Bathurst and a boring one?

The theatre in the crashes is always fun and we haven't had a single one yet. On top of that, crashes create the best drama because that's when pit strategies come into it, who can undercut by short filling fuel, how quickly can a team repair a damaged car. These things just haven't come into it. It's literally been cars running around in circles for 129 laps.

It'd be like a game of footy where not a single tackle was laid or an interchange or positional swap was made and only goals were kicked. It would be seriously boring because there's no strategy involved.
