I haven't got a clue about Rugby League but i pulled into a caravan park at Gloucester in the mountains and there was an U/18 game going on about 10 mtrs away, i enjoyed it and after a few stubbies i was an expert.

During his segment in the chair one night, I remember Ronnie Corbett talking about his class doing rugby for PT. During a scrum, a practical joker came up and super glued the scrum together. On their way back to the change room, the head master happened to look out of his office window, and he saw this "thing". He almost had a heart attack - he thought the school was being attacked by a giant crab!!!

I saw a video the other day of a scrum looked like the eighties, once the ball left the scrum and went downfield the scrum stayed for at least 3 minutes then they all started punching on.
