I must say adding a rat pit in Spotswood so we could entertain ourselves watching the rat fights has been very entertaining and well worth the expense.

Now for the next round my money is on the pug any takers....

Hi all,

Some might be aware that Spotswood Oval moonlights as the home of cricket for the West Gate Trolls in the Sweet CA.

This of course could create some difficulties for the ground curators as the two seasons do slightly overlap.

The OOBs are using the ground for qooty this weekend, however the Trolls are still playing cricket on the same weekend.

Fortunately, the Trolls are playing away this weekend, and their position languishing last on the Sweet CA ladder means there will be no double handling of the ground.

Therefore I can now show you footage of the conversion of the oval this morning, back into a Qooty ground just in time for tomorrow's Sweet FA game.
