Official Match Thread Season 39 Round 8 - Baghdad Bombers v Mount Buller Demons at Abdu Prison

The Bombers play their second home game of the season against a rampaging Demons who aside from accuracy have dominated the competition to date. The crew from Baghdad have been dealing with a lot of injuries but have held strong, and in fact have lifted their itensity, leading the league in tackles per game and spoils per game. No side has attained this feat for a full season in league history so that's cool. But there is something very fishy going on at Mounth Buller and we shouldn't say what but just know it's not what it all seems like.

The livewire forward p4p1 has gone back this year and is reaping the rewards, providing great run and carry from there. Benefitting from this ball movement approach is JackNah_8 who is top 4 for marks. Crowd favourite Kilroy returns from ankle surgery and will be on managed minutes, meanwhile a new nutrition regime has seen the usually sluggish snozulu find a new gear, taking at least one running bounce in 14 matches this season.

You would have to say the two sides will be wanting to take it easy, with both looking good for finals they may want to rest and not leap and turn around too much. But the new sponsors are said to be happy with any style and just hope the players will smile. It is anyone's game!
