Glasses means smart, at least according to my year 2 teacher who evidently wore glasses. So 100% a nerd, but also just better than us apparently

I've had glasses since about year 7 but I was never very good at wearing them until I went to uni - maybe because my first pair were similar to this but the frames were a pink, floral colour
I do remember in year 12 maths class that I would share my glasses with my mate who needed glasses but didn't have his own - the teacher would essentially team us off each class, telling him to take off my glasses and return them to me. I would then put them back in their case, never wore them nor get told off for not wearing them
They were a much nicer frame by that time - more of a black frame and smaller lenses

Reminds me of a mate of mine. When we did whole year group school photos, my mate borrowed a pair of glasses from a kid in the year below us to put on in the photo. I only got some new glasses today, they're clear frames and made by Converse, I have them in sunglasses too, so it will be good.

I asked Specsavers and they said no.
I never understood it either but the frames are pretty good, and I like them so it's a positive.
