List lodgement deadline is my favourite part of the season.

Need to add something like:

• A nominated Captain who is responsible for ensuring the club meets its administrative responsibilities as laid out in these rules. The Captain will serve the appropriate penalty on behalf of their club for any breaches of these responsibilities.

Otherwise, as we showed last season, clubs do not need to nominate a captain and penalties cannot be applied accordingly.

If no captains are nominated then by default, every player on the list is subject to the penalties on lieu of an official captain/vice/LG.

Good point, but unless the rule is stated in this thread's OP, there's no associated penalty beyond a dressing down by the admin. Bombers and Dragons escape justice yet again.

Believe you are confusing two distinctly different issues.

As (potentially one of numerous) captain/s of the club, I have duly posted our team in the official team submission thread as mandated within the rules.

As a separate issue, please indicate the relevant passage of the rules that mandates that a captain or captains must be named in said squad submission.
