Good point, but unless the rule is stated in this thread's OP, there's no associated penalty beyond a dressing down by the admin. Bombers and Dragons escape justice yet again.

Refused to be dressed down by the Admin until someone can point out where in the rules it states a captain needs to be named.

Save your outrage until we break an actual rule please, otherwise you won’t have enough to get through a full season.

It’s truly mind boggling how many members of respective LGs and former/current committee members don’t even read or understand the rules that govern our great league.

The new puppy and multiple part time jobs keep them mostly occupied.

I can walk and chew gum at the same time too, it kinda helps with time management.

You should have seen what it was like when a clearly eligible player was deemed ineligible for the finals last season!

Another good example of “the rules mean what we want them to mean, regardless of what they actually say” with (in)appropriate penalties or consequences subsequently applied.

Very disappointing that we cannot use such instances to admit the rules are no longer fit for purpose and then make meaningful changes to clarify and modernise them.

Hey Jab are you able to read OPs in threads or nah?

- The traditional numbered list, with each player's guernsey number, the name that they will be entered into the sim for throughout Season 38 and their status if applicable (eg C, LG, R).
