Di Marco should have got back up
Yeah, lel, only themselves to blame

Tbf that pen Lazio got was pretty soft and arsey, the kinda pen Juve used to get most weeks when they were winning the league, but they've been paying those last few years to everyone, but credit to Lazio for getting their tails up and putting Inter away afterwards

Just watched that, that was hilarious.

Watched Spezia Salernitana 2-1.
Atalanta's Kovalenko was easily best on ground, brilliant passing all game made an assist and scored from outside the box. Really makes me wonder why he's out on loan and not starting for Atalanta.
Can only think it's part of a plan to give him regular Serie A minutes then use him at Atalanta next season. Ex-Shakthar players a bit hit and miss, though mainly only their Brazilians leave eventually to progress their careers.

Malinovskyi is 28!!! I thought he was only like 23-24, lol

8 from 8 for Napoli, didn't think we'd do it today the way the game was going vs Toro, who played very valiantly, but between Insigne's missed pen, Koulibaly missing that sitter, Di Lorenzo's goal reversed for offside and Lozano hitting the post, just thought it was going to be one of those games.

Toro were on top in general play too when we scored, but great to see a couple of club legends in Koulibaly and Mertens take matters into their own hands with the goal - great, assertive play. Osimhen with a nice finish.

Roma away next week biggest test to date.

Slo-mo: (Kalinic in white wins a pen out of this).

Never a pen. What is the point of VAR if incidents like that are not overturned.

Even without VAR it should have been obvious that Romagnoli did nothing wrong other than get to the area first.

Huge last 10 minutes for Empoli there against Sassuolo

1-0 down most of the game, find 2 late goals in them to snatch the victory

For a historically yoyo team these are the types of results they'll have to pull out regularly to be top flight mainstays, could be huge for their season nevertheless

No Napoli away fans allowed for the Derby della Campania against Salernitana, pretty awesome atmosphere from Salernitana though. If they ever get it right it'll be a tough place to go to.

Zielinski with the winner after the hour

Koulibaly got caught out just before the box from a nice through ball on goal about 75 minutes in, so he got sent off from being last man. Probably got us the win committing that foul, seeing Ribery had his free kick saved.

Anyways, another week at the top.

Verona having one of those years where they'll be plucky ****s comfortably in midtable again

Then in a season or 2 they'll stink it up and go down again

Cagliari seems to be one of those teams too, though they seem pretty cooked at the moment

Great win for Venezia too, funny to see a French striker called T Henry wearing number 14 running around for them too

Simeone is in very hot form for Verona. Tudor looks like a good manager, after Di Francheso did his thing with a couple of early losses.

Why do Cagliari stick with Mazzari who has been shocking for all these games after sacking Semplici who saved them from relegation after a few games.

Venezia outplayed Roma too, they play in a similar way too Sassuolo, Roma look really uninspired and weird tactics by Mourinho playing El Sharaway at left wing back. They miss Spinazzola badly and they have little depth to be fair.

Will be interesting to see who from Venezia has breakout seasons and attracts interest from elsewhere, Okereke looks ok

Sassuolo was the best thing for Acerbis career for example after not really cementing himself with Milan or Chievo previously (had his health issues too), while Berardis loyalty is a surprising one too

Great season. Was really hoping for a new campione from Lazio, Napoli or Atalanta.

Looks like Napoli may have a chance given they don’t have CL to focus on. Atalanta and Lazio lack depth. Their first XIs are as good as any of the other sides.

Happy to see Roma struggling as predicted. Haha.

Gianluca Busio is a very good young midfielder, very skilled, Kiyene was an exiting winger and their left back looked really good.
Sassuolo staying is crazy in these days.

Napoli have a tough run of fixtures a head, Milan will be favourites.

Yeah from now to I think first game back after Xmas is Napolis tough run

Will see if we sink or swim

I think Milan are slight favourites at the moment if i had to pick, but obviously a very long way to go. Inter still in striking distance too.

Despite winning 10 of 12, i still reckon Osimhen is too isolated at times up front, we need more assertive and direct play from Zielinski and Lozano in particular - those two have not shown their best yet this season, espcially the latter.
