, me hitting joey tarran ( who was still jagging it sideways after 77 overs) for a cover drive 4 ( best shot ive EVER played )

Must of saved his best till last eh Waddo:p was pretty straight up and down to me, just kept putting it in the right spot over and over and over and over and over again. A very even deck produced too considering all the rain we had during the week:thumbsu: , out field was a hell of a lot slower than the week before.

Mate I put him in my U21 side earlier this year and got laughed at.
Just let the stats do the talking.
He takes wickets every week whether its A or B grade.
Speaking of Kyles. Kyle Watsons second half of the year would make him an automatic selection in any U21 side.
Bowling a treat:D

Re: Brett Polson

Heathcotes Brett Polson must be wondering what has happened to his cricket career, from chocolates to boiled lollies.

heard bubba umpired in his jocks the other week on that 40 degree day, can any of the Hill b-graders confirm or deny this?

Have seen young Kyle come thru the ranks from a kid and I reckon he has the capabilities of being a very good bowler at senior level in deed. For most bowlers that front arm is crucial and can not only dictate pace but also the area's in which you bowl.

If someone got hold of him and got that front arm to participate even slightly in his action I reckon there's a yard or two of pace hiding in that body, and the consistency to hit a spot regualarly will follow. The hardest thing for Kyle will be it's gunna feel uncomfortable having had the current action for so long, but if he's willing to give it a go his bowling will go to a better level IMO

Have you seen Ben Ure bowl.
Good bloke and all but that action becomes very sus when the boy starts getting tired.

eastern hill B grade will be the smokey in this years finals lads;)

I honestly think eastern hill are the worst side in the top 4 and rely heavily on A.Hatfield to get wickets for them. If he has a bad day i can't see them bowling out sides. But then again finals is a whole different kettle of fish!!

he is very suspect when he gets tired, but cant be pulled up as he went down to greg chappell before he left us to go to royals and got a certificate saying he doesnt throw.. very very sharp.. i rate him in top 3 in all grades for sharpness.. i have to wear 2 pair of saturated inners when i keep to him and still come out with purple hands but again, suss action after a while.. broke booka's bat a few weeks back at training.. if he gets the action right, and works on his line, he will become a very scary bowler in years to come.. not if he already isnt
