Teams: NSW&ACT Vs The Allies

Location: ANZ Stadium, Wednesday 2nd May.

Teams: TBA prior to Monday 9pm AEST.

Form: Having got up against WA in the wet in Round 1, NSW&ACT looked a bit flat against SA and were flattered by the scoreline in what was a comprehensive beating. The Allies' bright start against SA was clouded by a close but frustrating loss to Vic Country on Saturday night.

Summary: Both sides will be looking to atone for their performances last week in what shapes as a facinating match which could well change the course of this competition. Both these sides will be looking to convert a decent percentage and even win/loss into a genuine challenge at Vic Metro's dominance of this Carnival. NSW&ACT were fantastic at home but not great away, and will be boyoued by familiar surroundings. The Allies have looked strong and if they'd had an extra minute against Vic Country could easily be undefeated. Their patchy squad would like a bit more even contribution and they will need to be on the money to beat this fast-running NSW&ACT squad.
