Faction of the Season


We've gone a little wild with all the factions we've had over the last few season, so it's only fitting that we bring in an award to celebrate the best one!

Here are the nominees:



Bang Bang Furie Gang

They may have splintered at the end of the season, but in the months leading up to it, there was no stopping them. Frothies Mcveigh held the ClarkeMoney in the Bank contract and the IC Title, James Colorado, Orange crush and omgfridge held the Trios titles, what more could a faction do?

Well, aside from all the things done by...



Il Famiglia

Of course, the faction that held every available title for a month had to be on the shortlist. With a new recruit and a potential new mission of winning back all the belts, they're showing no signs of slowing down.



Team SFAEW

An semi-official title for the collective efforts of PhenomenalV1, serial_thrilla, TRUMAN#1 and okeydoke7 (as well as some other nominees) in their attempts to stop a league wide takeover from...



The Enforcement

ClarkeM's personal paramilitary police force ran riot over the league. The seven strong squad brutalised anyone that even so much as dared to challenge their supposed authority.

Il Capo di Famiglia.

Tony spent almost the entire season as World Champ, and put on solid defence after solid defence, all while co-ordinating the biggest faction SFAEW has ever seen...and he made it look easy.



Elton Johns Wig

Talk about a comeback story. After spending most of the early season on the sidelines, Elton kicked into second gear in the back half. He won the Trios Titles, before winning the Royal Rumble, and claiming the World Championship. Not bad for an old wino.



Shaun Freakin' Duggan

A two-time Wrestler of the Season, Duggs bounced back from the disappointment of SweetaMania VII to kickstart the Freakin' Wig Factory alliance, and consistantly put on the match of the night.



Chipmunk

The Rampaging Rodent bounced from strength to strength, steamrolling his way to a maiden Intercity Championship reign, and capped off his season by winning the ClarkeMoney in the Bank briefcase.



serial_thrilla

This season was all about redemption for Thrilla. He made his peace with TRUMAN#1, then won the tag team titles with him. He questioned BigChippa52's place in the league, but came to acknowledge him. He pissed off the Turbos, then he won their respect. Hats off to the Thrillmeister.
