Quite a few options out there as a matter of fact- assistant coaches just itching to emulate the Sheedy of 1981. Longmire , Sumich and Mckenna have good credentials.

I don't think Sumich would make such a good head coach plus I think he's more than happy as an assistant at West Coast!

Sheedy is a good twister himself- he is not the answer for the next 3 or 4 years at EFC.

He is the answer if he continues to get the most out of the youngsters and we have a signifiacant climb up the ladder, which is concieviably possible

MrAARON, an essendon poster, stated in one of my threads in bay 13 that he can guarantee that 60% of essendon fans want Sheedy gone. I think the guy is obviously stupid, Sheeds being one of the most successful coaches of all time. My question is 1-how long do you want Sheeds to keep going? and 2- do you want Hird to replace him? After all this time we wouldnt want Kev at Richmond, but i'd love to give a Hird a chance to do what the great Tiger has done for you.
