I thought that would end up a draw; not sure what Zampa was thinking be he should be walking home after that shot.

What a magnificent year Marsh is having, if he can lead us to the shield interesting to see how serious people will take his legacy as one of the best batsmen the state has produced.

Another very handy cameo from Agar too for the second time in the match.

Kelly has really thrived since getting his chance, took a while for him to get it given the competition but is now such an integral part of the lineup given the injuries around to our other key bowlers. Always a lot of tears whenever Moody plays but I don't think he's that bad at all, decent enough record and does the job.

He should have been the 3rd genuine quality test batsman we've produced since the golden period.

Clarke, Smith, Marsh.

For whatever reason he he hasn't fully delivered on his ability at the top level though. Who knows why.

I don’t really agree with this notion. He’s dominated FC level in his latter years but he’s not in the ilk of some who have dominated their whole career but never converted it to test level. He hits some incredibly elegant shots but that doesn’t mean he should be a high test standard player. His FC average even now is only 41. He relies on overpitched or leg side bowling to cash in. If he gets consistently good bowling, he could never be anything more than a decent test level player imo.
