Richmond are contending for flags every year and unearthing key long term defenders like Bolta who is an absolute beast.

Where are they finding these kids?
It's not just that.

They look at the list they have & they 100% play to their strengths.

They're an A grade team, but perhaps only a B+ list (if that).

We have given a lot of fringe players exposure over the last two months. I don’t think anyone has really seized the opportunity, which speaks volumes (save for kids in Day and Greaves). Cousins I think is the only one who has done enough to be confident not to be cut. Many others would have to be nervous.
As you say Day and Greaves are players we have uncovered, which im happy about, most of the others have already shown they probably won't make it or are fringe under 100 game player types, let's hope a couple more kids show what Day and Greaves have next week or next year.

Trade Gunston and we are absolutely screwed. In fact I'd double down and make him captain. Had an outstanding season in the face of utter sh*t.
I agree, unless he wants out, in which case we would need to be well compensated. Since Sicily went down he has been by far our best player and leader

Moore, Morrison and Hanrahan aren't the future. Papers would be close to stamped.
I’d add Glass to that list. Nash appears to be contracted, which saved his spot. Howe 50/50.

Thought Morrison was actually one of our better ones today.

Were you watching last year? Clearly the club were saving some face if he finished top 10. He was pinching poking and tripping over his own two feet last season.

How he got a second year as skipper is astounding .
Funny isn't it, how in the modern world we are told to open up and talk about our problems
and don't be shy to ask for help but football clubs fail miserably to admit mistakes have been made.

A little transparency and honesty wouldn't go astray at given times.

Cousins is contracted for 2021.

Absolute piss take if Nash the spud gets a 2 year deal, haven’t we learnt the lesson when we gave cegs 3 years. Ffs hope it isn’t true , he won’t make it. Should be delisted. Never shown anything

Nash Morrison glass stratton Henderson poppy Michington All should be gone at the end of the year...
Howe Moore not safe either but would rather those 2 get a deal then the above mentioned

He finished top 10 in the B+F last year. That’s not “exceptionally poor”. He’s obviously delivering what the club wants. This year he has been ordinary but the criticisms around here have been as much about his supposed lack of leadership as it is form.
There were a lot of queries around how he managed to finish top 10 B&F. It's clear his on field decision making, ability to shut down and opponent and execution has been poor for two years. Yes, he may add smarts and support, but if he's not performing on field we're playing one man down.
