C'mon, he cannot be that superficial.I had to bring the bins in.
How sad...Or 2000
There has been a stack of better sides than Richmond last year. They lost SIX games, that's a lot of losses for "greatest side of all time"
I don't think he sees much at all.C'mon, he cannot be that superficial.
I reckon something traumatic happened for him liked they changed the time of MAFS for him and he cannot see it tonight.
It is unfair that Pickett should be denied the chance at an award he'd probably win by the rules as they stand.
It should be a thing where if you've played under 25 games at the start of the year, you're eligible for the award.
I was at the Grand Final and witnessed Picket''s game, including that blind turn, and feel it is an injustice that he's denied the opportunity to win the award simply because of his age.
Discuss.
Seems a fairly tough nut.
Richmond the greatest team in the game's history, essentially unbeatable, so doubt he'll lose form.
Thread is useless so far. Let's turn it into something useful.
What's been tough today for you ?
daNothing too bad just family things, when you marry a Russian it comes with the territory lol
da
oh god, good luck with that
what were you thinking ?
Actually JLG if I am candid I would scrap the entire award, just let the kids settle into a system with noEXACTLY - this is why the award should be for those who have not played seniors before, not an age thing.
Poor thread.
No, there has been a ton of mature age players over the years that deserved it but couldn't because of their age i.e Tim Kelly. It would be an injustice to those players to change the rules now.
That's bizarre logic - I agree that there's examples in the past of top notch mature recruits like Tim Kelly and Liam Anthony being denied a Rising Star because of these rules.
But why should others suffer in future because of what happened in the past?
I thought it was an award for rising stars.Because its an award for youth. Simple.
I thought it was an award for rising stars.
I don't agree with the criteria (I think it should be any player in their first year regardless of how many games they play) but don't change the criteria for one player
Liam Anthony was denied a Rising Star award because he couldn't play. That's bizarre logic - I agree that there's examples in the past of top notch mature recruits like Tim Kelly and Liam Anthony being denied a Rising Star because of these rules.

call it what you want, its for youth.
You know you're being trolled right?
Surely this is a troll thread. Take it to the bay.
Actually JLG if I am candid I would scrap the entire award, just let the kids settle into a system with no
obligations or pressures to be nominated to frank the "awesome development" of the AFL's feeder
programs. Sydney Stack earned a nomination, but on a slight technicality was not even drafted to
begin with. There is no need for the award as it proves nothing.
Because its an award for youth. Simple.
