Shattered is realising that we're not going to contend for another 7 or so years, and that there's a very real chance you'll never see another premiership.
It's beginning to feel a lot like Neil Craig all over again.
2016/2017 was Don Pyke's version of 05/06.
Since 2017 we've be going nowhere, but sadly Pyke can't see it and continues to cling for dear life to an ageing squad that's about to go over the cliff.
Neil Craig had the same failings and Pyke will ultimately suffer the same fate, by the time the club realises that we're going nowhere with Pyke and we bring in someone else etc we're most probably looking at another decade+ before we contend again.
Sadly it looks like the club is destined to stretch it's premiership drought out to 30+ years.
