Still no Fraser, might be a late swap for Jolly? Medders for Leon was a good change, Locks back in? Probably resting and trying to find a good balance at the same time

Probably just a corkie - he seemed to be moving OK on the video highlights.

Medders had better take this opportunity and have a right royal night to keep his spot. Hope Blairy continues to have a purple patch.

I've been refreshing this forum for 10 mins waiting for someone to start this thread, the team was out 10 mins ago. Getting slack peoples

Anyway, good to see a few players rested. A little surprised Josh wasn't given his 200th this week.

No problems there, 3 players being rested, and 1 play with a slight injury concern (Reid).

Ball, Davis and Goldsack would be certain to return next week, if we want them to.

Correct inclusions too, 4 of our 5 "depth" players, with Fraser being the 5th, and he only gets a game if Leeroy or Jolly miss.

No probs this week, still a great 22.

Blair will get a big chance too, he gets to be a real part of the midfield, rather then just a bit player.

I've actually heard that there is a Pringles can that is tearing it apart down there at training who has actually leapt in front of Josh in terms of ability and heart.

Doesn't bode well for the big #25.

Thanks TD for getting the team out again.

Four big outs, but they appear to have been covered pretty effortlessly.

Happy to see LB and Leon get a rest and not risking Reid.

Sensible replacements, so should be good match.

This is it for Meds I reckon, he has to show that he is back in form and able to compete at AFL level. I'm not saying he's gone if he doesn't do well against Essendon, but I think we won't see him again in 2010. Pretty excited!

Essendon lose Fletcher, Davey and Winderlich, and gain no one of significance. Prismall and Houli also dropped.

We are not taking them easy, we are being smart, 6 day break coming off a tough match, we are not taking them easy.

Plus it gives the guys on the outer the chance to shine.
Watch for Medders to have a blinder tomorrow night to try and oust Leon as our lead up small forward.

We should do this every week, rest at least 3/4, until the last game. Our counterparts don't have this luxury.

Medhurst playing for his career probably ensures he is an upgrade on Leon.

Medhurst (Small Classy forward) for Leon (see medhurst)

But what the #*%& is lockyer in the side for?

Why not The Sack for Buckley (Running defender)???

I'd be looking at off loading Lockyer at the end of the year to try and get Tarrant back from Freo!
