Facts are Johnsy has been director of football for the 4-5 yrs, Darren patterson is football manager! Undermining is a pretty strong word for someone that is guessing the situation. Think you will find johnsy was an a/c along the way and coached the res. for 3 three years aswell as been in selection committee for the past 6yrs so i would say they have worked pretty well together wouldn`t you.....
So tell me Fancy who out of the 2's last year from the rats are fat and old hacks Tim Shea? Matt Summers? Jake Holz? Alister williamson? Adam Fleming? Rohan May? Darren Bahl? Paul Mcgloughan? If you read beaton post he said 4 or 5 looked like they were from skene street I didn't say the whole team. Of course there is going to be offers for players to go to either club both with valid reason I wouldn't call it poaching. There are some very quality players at swifts.
U r right about him not wanting him as coach as their communication to each other was pretty ordinary last year but i think u will find there was a few board members at city oval a bit 50/50 on the coaching job. I think stuey wasn`t to sure he wanted it after some of the offers he had early on especially from birchip/watchem.
Liston will hurt and i don`t think obst and heathy have confirmed there leaving unless u heard otherwise, wright and smith can be replaced as they were borderline last year. Jeremy hartigan back could hold a key position, u may find jordy burke rucking a bit more aswell as a couple of kids out of u/17 prem. side who can ruck. The half a dozen kids out of the u/17 side are as good as any gettin around but i do agree they will come back to the field or the field is cathin up which ever way u want to put it. The Empire will still have a good side.The Demons might be a bit light on for talls this year. Last years premiership ruckmen Garrett Liston (Hamilton) and Carl Obst have left the club. Chris Heath heading back to Harrow Balmoral, adding to the earlier departures of Jarrod Wright and Lucas Smith to the mountain men.

By reading other forums you need the club name and password to access this info for an unknown reason which is crap we should all be able see the transfer lists not just a select few.
