In the paper today so I stand corrected. I had been told he would be at several other clubs before the Burras but obviously my sources were wrong. Burras still to find a full back it seems but starting to look a lot more stable down there.
Any news on Horsham recruits?
Have heard the evil empire are cruisin along pretty quitely, they have recruited Jeremy Hartigan back from glenelg after playin in u/19 premiership last year, Jason Kerr from nor/Quanny, Luke Soderman from Rup/ Pimp. They have got about 6 - 8 kids coming out of under 17 premiership side putting their hand up who can cut the mustard is yet to be seen but it was a pretty handy side. Not many loses either, probably the biggest would be garret liston to hamilton, jarrod wright and lucas smith to laharum.

How they covering the loss of players to Navarre? If rumours are true-there has been a fair few go that way.

Does'nt matter how massive Tuck is. It would appear that they struggle to fulfill their potential.

On another note David TURBO Mccarthy has quit playing bowls with his brother snake johnson and has been seen walking laps down at alexander oval.
Has been in talks with ararat about being a specialist forward pocket.if true you wouldnt have any worries bout finding shade on the open spaces at alexander....

you must not have seen him in previous years because i can tell you he's not the fittest i've seen him (not saying he isn't fit just i've seen him a lot fitter)

Shit, with those blokes in the forward line I will be struggling for a spot. May have to go up the ground-then I'll be in serious trouble!

C.Walsh WFL representative at full back... he might do the trick i reckon. Or Lanyon? Or Delahunty? I'd say they'd be looking for more midfeilders at the moment as opposed to full back

Have heard he will be at hsm, The tatyoon rumours are a fair way of the mark. Apparently Him and stuart farr still have a difference of opinion on something, just goes to show just because u play footy with someone and win 6 flags together doesn`t mean u get along. They obviously put there differences aside for the past few years for the sides cause, however i think it has come to far now that something will give. Its funny how it`s pretty common knowledge they have not agreed on something but they are both pretty stubborn and self confident and pride themselves in what they do on the field from what i can tell. I will say that stuart is the coach though.

the big fella in sladdin, well he has informed me that there will be no try outs or training for him he wants straight in and ord in the mid field that would be some special dont no bout Andrew (EGG EASTWICK) eastick the way home was moving on the holidays he could be a chance along with his super fit brother in tom looks like the rats 2s this year could be lookin pretty special

Apparently farmer Tom was a bit of a ball magnet in his younger day's.To quick for his own good dashing down the wing at Alexandra Oval:eek:I think the big fella would still kick goals in the magoo's

Why is it Tex that Stawell seem to underperform more often than not? I was at the game in Murtoa last year when the Saints ran over the top of them. On paper they were so much better but appeared to lack some ticker. I also saw then get done by Horsham the week before. Very shameful that the club blamed the umpires for the loss and could not reflect on their own performance. The umpires were bad that day, as usual, but certainly did not cheat as the Stawell Football Club suggested in the paper.
No idea mate-I play for Ararat. Maybe one of the Stawell guys is better equiped to answer-croweater?

It would seem the fact that they have the team on the paper got to them and they expected to win and I have talked this over with numerous people at the footy club inc senior players and that is what they were saying. You can never do that walking onto the footy field expect it to happen it won't.

I was not at either of these games as i was injured and we went early after the 17's game.
There is to a certain point the umpires play apart in the game but ultimately destiny is in your own hands and they couldn't perform on those days.
