So srsly - what are ppls views on the possibility that this is a combo of the hard ground at both Lathlain and Optus?

Surely that makes more sense than the level of bad luck and/or incompetence of our fitness team?

In which case we need to throw some millions a the problem and fix it. Fight like madman to have the costs associated NOT count under any cap - point to the obvious injury list madness and get AFLPA on board if we have to since it is directly affecting player welfare.

Srsly Nisbett something bizarre is going on past 3 years and it's either the ground or the team - either way maybe it's your time to go (not Simmons) if you can't deal with it.

If that was the issue I think it would've been more apparent in the first 12 months or so, though I'm not an expert in the area. We've been at Lathlain since June 2019.

As a comparison, the EPL team I follow (Liverpool) moved into a new training facility with new training grounds a couple of years ago. In their first season after the move they experienced a lot of injuries which they partly attributed to the new grounds. They've had improvement this season. Different sport of course, so different dynamics.

I assume that answer means “yes”

Miguel vs Kate is so much better than Miguel vs The Gambler.

Keen for a Scooby Doo style reveal that Kate is The Gambler though. Logging into her official West Coast Twitter account instead of BigFooty and trolling from that would be such a West Coast in 2022 style Balls In Up
And he would've gotten away for it if it wasn't for that damned Miguel Sanchez

I’ve heard that Oscar Allen’s injury is simply working its way up his leg - completely normal for a 4-6 week foot injury when they occur in January.
He should be ruled out for the season with OP just before the mid season draft.

Nic Naitanui was 7 weeks, 2 weeks ago, and is now 7-8 weeks - so all going well he should right for pre-season 2024.

Well it was 10 days before the Tuesday update, so if he spent 7 days of them in isolation I can see how they wouldn’t have been able to get a full picture.
Cmon buddy, he’s at the club in a knee brace are you suggesting they don’t fully understand the extent of his injury????

XON injured his knee on the 29th of April.

Still no answer from the club as to what he has actually done.

Something with his knee that’ll take 6-7 weeks before he can get back to playing.

Not sure how knowing the exact diagnosis helps us. If you’re really keen to know though, I recommend badgering them on Twitter, it’s guaranteed to get answers.
