Remember he was on his L Plates back then.He was learning his art .This is why he started the DH Head Wobbler's Society for backup protection.

I suppose he could have an accident in the off season and not be able to coach again...that would be great because then, the guys really would play for him.

Yeah sounds ridiculous but is apparently what King has been claiming (on the Marngrook Footy Show).

King claims when he arrived at the club, Hardwick wasn’t there.

King phoned the coach, and claims Hardwick told him: “I’m not an idiot. I’m not gonna let you punch the f--- out of me because I dropped you.’”

King sighed: “I spent the next eight weeks in the reserves because I’d told (Hardwick) exactly what I thought of him. It wasn’t much fun.”

Jake is telling funny stories you idiot, can I make it simpler for you. So yes there would have been a snippet of truth so the story hangs, but even you would not be so gullible to believe it verbatim. Ever been to a sportsmans night?
He and the coach had a fantastic relationship and Hardwick actually rescued Jakes career by turning him into a defensive small forward.
Can't wait to see the coach excel with some solid list additions, some injured players fully fit and the kids to kick on. Aren't you excited?

WTF it was common knowledge there was an issue with the players. Also pick the post where i said the players were all happy and so was lids. You cant as i never posted that. So stop lying to try to be right. Again, show me where i posted defending lids saying he was all ok.

Seriously, if you cant see how pathetic you linking a zerohanger article and saying thats fact is, well, you need to stop drinking so early in the morning lol
