Thats the third former AFL coach that I have heard say this in last 2 weeks

Our fundamentals and basic game plan is very very poor

As one said Carlton is the easiest side in the AFL to coach against. They are so predictable. They play purely relying on top end talent

Yep. Same thing was said when we had Teague...

Before the bye we are looking at being between

3-8 (worst case)
4-7
5-6
6-5 (best case)

anything worse than 5-6 makes it really difficult to play finals... we'd need to win 8 or 9 games in the next half of the season.

If we don't make the 8, can't see Voss being renewed.

He is a very good leader of people
Really? He was 25 years ago when he could lead by example but now what?

He's admirable and awe inspiring which make great on field leaders but being a mentor styled leader is different. I'm not convinced he's that.

His contract expires end of 2026.

Yes, because even with his lack of modern football insight he got the players to a prelim and second mid year last year.

They played as hard as they could for him. It just took its toll.

I can rant like the best of them but things are never as extreme as a supporters petulance shows up when losing games of footy.

I think the writing is on the wall. Just listening to Voss in the pressers its all smoke and mirrors. No accountability at all. Horrible game style and questionable player selections.
His making his own bed. Simple.
He can still stand and deliver, he has the list, but just needs to change his stance or opinion.
