Re: A-League 2011/2012 Kits

Probably template restrictions. They have royal blue training and media wear...

I like the sky blue, black, and white. I just wish that they'd introduce a lighter tone of blue for their tops. Something like this would be ideal. How cool does it loook?

It's the A-League. Do you really expect that sort of quality when the AFL can't get kit's right.

Re: A-League 2011/2012 Kits

They're mutually exclusive.

Saying that, most football kit manufacturers couldn't have a nice kit like that. Nike maybe. But the two nicest kit producers haven't yet splashed into the A-League market.

You have a point. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if manufacturers can't be bothered with the AFL, why are they going to care about a two bit competition (their words, not mine).

Also Umbro and who else? Le Coq?

I presume you mean companies like Bukta and Mitre.

:D

Make them look even worse. Take a look at Heart to see how to put a sponsor on your kit.

Although it helps that Westpac's corporate colours are also that of Heart. It just blends in, which is the exact opposite of what sponsors want. Unforunately we can't all win.

EnergyWatch.. They were signed as Melbourne Demon's new back sponsor as well weren't they?

Re: A-League 2011/2012 Kits

I thought it was the navy colour. At least that's what I saw at Rebel Sport.

I saw a shirt on a thread a while ago and saw the logo on the back through the front assumed it was Black

Re: A-League 2011/2012 Kits

08-10-2010

Heart 2 - Victory 1

;););)

11-12-2010

Melbourne 3 - 1 Heart

22-1-2011

Melbourne 2 - 2 Heart

Season one goes to Victory on goal difference

;););)

On the topic of the MV kits though, the away strip looks horrible on its own anyway. They look like refs. The logo looks crap too, and considering the sponsors would want to stand out more, I'd suggest a dark text with no background would probably stand out more anyway.

Re: A-League 2011/2012 Kits

Looks better Cory. Still not a fan of the actual kit though.

They should've stuck with white, or did a softer yellow colour.

Looks way better then there current one :) i really hate the Away kit i totally agree white would have been better then green
