Was mainly going off the fact that the image you posted has 'libertadores 17' in the bottom corner and I assumed that it was a kit launch photo. That was a rumoured sponsor. And that kit has the QA logo shopped.

Our antiquated approaches to things like coaches comes in handy when it manifests in things like this, and still using strips for two seasons up until a few seasons ago.Arsenal won't be signing a sleeve sponsor due to the current Emirates deal.
I still reckon the 'OG' one is the classic, probably wouldn't work these days but it was iconic. I remember when the current/old one came out and people were disappointed because it was less notable... I reckon the newy is pretty cool, it's not a big departure so I wonder why they couldn't have churned this out and rolled it out in line with the other parts of the rebrand. It's not a bad font, probably a break even really.
Bummer. The PL font is one of my favourites.

I have a knockoff Raul with that font in the second flickBarely searched but the Real Madrid number history is really interesting. Some dude is basically employed to just be in cahoots with Adidas and the club and bring out a new font every season. I really like that – some of theirs are all-time classics and you can just imagine and remember the era, season, players from looking at 'em. Some of my favourites:
A book was brought out a few years ago detailing them all.
The rebrand is really good. It's not very 'soccer' or in line with the brands they had when I was a kid, but it's iconic and memorable. I'm going back to the UK this year and I wonder if it'll be heavily advertised in those colours. I still think the A-League should have gone for something similar, bright orange and green I think would have worked, simply because colours are almost stronger than logos or fonts or anything else. Everyone knows Coke, everyone knows even Richmond... you combine a strong set of colours with an obvious logo and you can have anything scrawled there and whether people read it or not, they absolutely still know what it is.I was also just thinking recently about how I've really come around to the Premier League rebrand. The theme is always in my head. The visuals are striking and animations are slick.
The patch isn't that great and I love the old shape but it's not that bad.
The Premier League? Was over there for a month in November and except for seeing Chelsea play at Stamford Bridge its easy to miss it being on Sky and BT with the odd sport report. The rebrand is really good. Never been in soccer season unforto but I remember them all showing shoddy streams in pubs as I heard. Weird how they don't have random shut downs because most venues generally show it and you can pinpoint the sort that would... they were even showing pointless youth Euro matches or women's U17 European games or something odd.The Premier League? What are those first few?Wellington Phoenix are celebrating ten years today and have released the 250 names that were suggested.
Aotearoa which is originally used in reference to the North Island of New Zealand, is now the most widely known and accepted Māori name for the entire country. What are those first few?
Probably worth noting that that article was published back in 2007 and that these were suggested by the readers of the newspaper, rather than the bid team.Wellington Phoenix are celebrating ten years today and have released the 250 names that were suggested.
It was posted by the Nix page on Facebook. The bid team was called just Wellington.Probably worth noting that that article was published back in 2007 and that these were suggested by the readers of the newspaper, rather than the bid team.
