Forget the cricket... it will flood in southern Qld and northern NSW for the third year in row!

Without an hot summer to dry it out, the land in these areas has just been inundated and oversaturated.

The cumulative effect is likely to be devastating!

Apart from the usual flooding

  • roads washed away
  • bridges washed away
  • houses flooded
  • homes washed away
  • mud slides / land slips
  • sink holes

And this doesn't take into effect the farming community...

Any chance anyone thought that inflation & interest rates might top out just went out the window... By next winter we'll all be feeling the financial impact of this third la nina.

Terrible if that happens , the last triple Nina in the 90's didn't have the rain expected.
Also i won't forget the cricket !

When I heard the news I was thinking at least we won't have the bushfires destroying homes like in 19/20

But yeah I forgot about the floods that'll likely happen in the winter...

I'm anti death penalty, so generally against people dying as punishment even if they have committed evil acts. But if you willingly lend support to and entwine yourself with a tyrant, in order to gain power and enrichment for yourself, you made your bed.
