Josh Hunt :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

No ____ way.

That's either blatant cheating of something weird is going on here.

What's the difference between Kerr and Hunt? Not much.

Shall we go back and start making comparisons on every decision that has ever been made by the match review panel? We know its inconsistant.

Bottom line - Kerr is a dirty rat, Hunt is generally a fair player. Anyone playing for the cats who didn't throw some fire around after seeing Ling go down was doing VERY WELL.

Looks like Geelong can dish it out but cant take it ...

Why am I not surprised!?

Why am I not surprised that you'd post some random, irrelevant crap?

Geelong can dish out what? Fractured cheekbones? Or are you suggesting that in the past Cats' supporters have laughed about a players injury but now have an issue about Freo supporters finding Ling's injury funny?

Big Cox took pleasure in Muston's knee injury, BigFooty posters correctly labelled him a shit stain for that thread. You guys aren't far off.

cats fans are ####ing sooks

milburn on sos?

was a gold hit by solly.

No player deserves to be taken out of the game in such a manner, you my fellow hawk are a tosser of the highest order

but can we still be friends?

I think 4 weeks for Buchanan is pretty harsh.

2 seemed right.

They got it right in comparison to similar incidents, ie Mcglynn got 4 weeks and Burgoyne 3 weeks for similar scenarios, lucky it was Hodgey he collected and not one of our lightweights, man is as tough as nails, no damage done.

Also, for those who didnt see the game Goodesy was at it again but this time he missed, bloke has issues, needs to see BBB's psychologist.

another one who jumped on in 07?

i bet that jumper looks nice and clean! ;)

Mate I grew up in th 70's, a few decades before your team was a gleam in the AFL's eye. I have seen real hard teams & real snipers. Not these piss-ant "thugs" of today but Soloman would be right at home in the 70's. Back then he would paid a high price for being a gutless sniper believe me payback was a b*tch.

Good for you mate! ;)

Don’t take it personally – I’m at work, I’m bored and I’m trolling!

Both were forearms to the head. Kerr's more severe and thus deserves a bigger penalty.

For Hunt to not even be cited is a farce.

Did they send Milburn "Straight to the Tribunal" when he almost paralysed SOS?

Hardly a time for Geelong supporters to start taking the moral high ground on such matters

It won't be long before J Bartel gets caught, and suspended. There were tow occassions he should have been cited, once for a clenched fist, and the other for a knee.
Also Goodes was very lucky his head high on X Ellis's head was slightly mistimed, or he would have been cited also. He is so protected he'll probably get the three votes.
The controlling umpire should also get 4 weeks for not giving Hodge a free.
Buchanan's penalty is a little harsh.

Yes, so typical of the umpiring in that game, lay a finger on someone in a marking contest, free kick. Knock someones head off and get rubbed out for 4 weeks, don't be silly, no free kick for that.

Build a bridge. It was 7 years ago, no Geelong fans are claiming Milburn did the right thing, and it was a single dog act in an otherwise unblemished 230+ game career- not like Solomon who's made a career of it. Quit bringing it up as though it proves a point. All it proves is that the person bringing it up doesn't know how to think properly.

Get over it Freo supporters, what do you expect when you come out to play and dish out that rubbish? Expect Geelong to stand by and let it happen? Stupid football from thugs, surprised Carr didnt have a brain implosion too that's all he's good for these days.

Having said that, Crowley did deserve a week.. Using Motlop's as a precedent for Hunt then there isn't a case to answer there, however it just highlights the inconsistencies of the MRP, ie: Ronnie Burns getting a week for a fresh airy on a Carlton player, or when Ling got one for a jumper punch on Buckley (both ages ago but there's always going to be these inconsistencies which makes it even more annoying) IMO both should have been sighted, and Mooney probably should have too..

You can hardly call Geelong protected, how often does it happen? The fact that the Free Kick count was so lopsided early would surely indicate the opposite considering all Freo was doing was go the man in the first half..
