Yeah, unless Bancs wants to end his own career by hanging the hierarchy out to dry there won't be any consequences for anyone but him unless Cricket Australia drop an internal hammer.

Yeah but how does Boof explain getting on the walkie talky and sending Handscomb out on the field to warn Bancroft, that means implication doesn't it.

No, I didn't say that at all. I said it's an issue which occurs throughout International cricket which needs to be seriously rubbed out, but it would be unfortunate if Australia / Bancroft became the 'example' to do so.

I would prefer they make ball tampering legal to some degrees considering the pitches around the world especially the MCG.

Each team gets an ICC approved lozenge or piece of plastic or pair of false teeth to use on the ball depending on the ground. Could bring an interesting new dynamic to test cricket!

To be really honest, Lehmann sounded like a total jerk when he was criticising the behaviour of the Sth. African crowds. Australian crowds have more than their fair share of flogs that go to the cricket. Lehmann has lost the plot and as the coach, he sets the culture of the team. In my book, Lehmann is past his use by date and fresh blood is needed to lead this Australian cricket team.
