the council have stepped in. driving past tonite it looked like they had spread sand all over it. either that or it has turned to crap in the space of a week. also drove past skye's ground. someone forgot to tell mother nature that skye is also in the middle of a drought. looked superb!

How is training at the eagles JS? Lots of rumours circulating that the eagles have managed to pluck a few Lyndale boys away.

It does look in good condition. They are lucky enough to have the Sandhurst golf club down the road which is using recycled water. Skye also have access to this water and the grounds are being watered every morning.....

Our numbers have not been as great as other clubs. We have had 4 runs before Xmas and last night we had 21 off the top of my head. Had approx 40 blokes in all train at one stage or another. Pre season has never been huge at Lyndale, last year we had 40-45 a night and it did no good in the end. Most players are commiting themselves to the club. Bear had his first run for the year last night and bubs is not far behind.
There is a certain amount of interest in a few of our players from the eagles, i am not certain of there status.

Blac04 is either Jason Salerno or Brett Colbert. Just my opinion, i don't know why they access the Lyndale FC forum though.

wrong mate! just a player. sth yarra have a ground apparently near richmond railway station. only one i think of is melbourne high school.

Will be interesting to see if Heatherton try and recruit any players from East Brighton as though they have a big influence down with John Bennett being coach and also Lucas Ring ,Marcus Wilson just to name a few.I think that if Heatherton won 6 to 8 games then that would be a successful saeson first up in the top flight.Anybody hear what Mordialloc have been doing in terms of recruitment.By far the best ground in the comp.

There will be no more leakage of players from East Brighton to Heatherton. The Vampires have helped Beany out, now it's up to the Tiunners to do their best!

Here's one I heard the other night, that a couple of the Hislop boys (one is Ex-Brighton) are playing at Mt Waverley Caths in 3rd division after training there a lot last year while playing in the country. They were also spotted at last years Parkmore vs Mt Waverley game.

Barking up the wrong tree there. They wouldn't waste their time. Rumour is strong that B. Hislop will return to East Brighton this season with a couple of other handy players to bolster the Vampire ranks. Vampires are recruiting heavily and won't be any pushover this year

It would appear that Richie Rich is scouring all leagues are left to buy a premiership down at the peanut farm. Interesting to note the trail of destruction left behind, wherever he has touched. Parkmore in trouble, aborted a coaching attempt at Moorabbin Kangaroos, left committee in disarray and player exodus. We can only await with bated breath to see the end result at St Kilda City. Short-term fixes rarely work and rumour has it Mr Rich has his eye on an EFL coaching position already. He'll need to raid the piggy bank to secure a job there!

Well his gunna have to wait 3 years before he can transfer to the E.FL that's how long his contract is with City.I dont think any E.F.L club will be stupid enough to put him on;i heard his partner crime from Parkmore Gary Connlly is coaching Belgrave and most of the Parkmore players have crossed over there with him .

Have they i don't think so he will get 3 players only thats it.Mc Arther (good player getting on in years ),Handfield ( Over rated turns it over ), Knotty ( Looked ok in a talented side ) just an opinion

Where there's smoke theres fire, some of the Hislop boys play a summer sport with a couple of Mount boys, heard that at the beach yesterday BOY it was HOT.

Perhaps you are playing the man and not the ball.....look at the 2 clubs in question, Parkmore, they were about to fold and had a life extension, now it is up to them to continue if they are capable. As for Moorrabbin perhaps the incoming President has more to do with there current situation than anyone, just ask the players...

Don't think that contract can't be broken! Mr Rich wouldn't tie himself up as well as he ties players. What odds it doesn't run its full term? 6 to 4 on I reckon.
