I’m sorry did you not read the whole post where it said that Clarence have lost more quality. I was more pointing out that Lauderdale have still lost a lot of players this off season which will affect the 2s who played in a granny
I reckon it’d be a pretty standard number for most clubs to lose wouldn’t it? Just didn’t see the point of your post without out adding the context, the Clarence and Lauderdale situations on player movements are poles apart.

Well based off what’s been made public by clubs

Lauderdale

IN: 4
OUT: 11

Clarence

IN: 4
OUT: 12

Glenorchy

IN: 7
OUT: 2

North Hobart

IN: 1
OUT: 4

Kingbrough

IN: 1
OUT: 4

Brighton

IN: 3
OUT: 4

So no Clarence and Lauderdale have lost a lot more compared to others

Clarence lost there’s due to Peter Ryan’s treatment

Not sure what Lauderdales problem is but yeah

Don’t think Lauderdale have a problem do they? A bunch of blokes who were fringe/reserves players have chosen to drop down a level, no great shock there.

Still don’t know what you are getting at with your original post? If it’s trying to insinuate Lauderdale have some sort of problem keeping players it’s a pretty lame attempt.

I was just pointing out how it was very pretty much the same amount of players have left both clubs which was higher compared to the others maybe I should’ve worded the original post better that’s my bad….

But what’s lame is making an account just to have a dig if you ask me 😂😂

KeenObserver24 is just a little upset that his bombers couldn't win the flag with the stacked side they had 😂 No excuses this year with no Northern teams, surely can't choke again hahah

Choke? lol
They came from 3rd and 5 goals down in a prelim to make the GF without their best player for half a year, how’s that a choke?

No one was beating the greater Northern Tasmanian rep team.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, everyone had pretty much written off both Northern teams prior to the season starting, Lauderdale loaded up on recruits and spent a heap of coin to win the flag, that came straight from players and supporters mouths, they thought they had the flag in the bag before the season started, that was also from players and supporters mouths, so yeah I'd say it was a choke from all the pre season talk.

Name me one player that said they “had the flag in the bag”, all the talk came from outside and that means absolutely nothing, I can guarantee you internally that was not the mind set, did they think they could win it? Of course they did, why play otherwise but I fail to see how it was a choke, they didn’t even make the finals the previous year and were never even in the top 3 on the ladder this season until the very last round.

Why would I name a player to you and chuck them under the bus? I know quite a few of the Lauderdale boys and also see a few of them on the job site, it came from multiple players mouths that the flag was in the bag and that bad luck could only beat them, those same players have since said that If Siggo didn't get injured and Robbo didn't **** them around they would've won.

Why does the previous years results and not sitting in the 3 all year mean the season wasn't a choke? After announcing 11 high quality recruits on the socials and heading into 2024 with 5 ex AFL listed players of course it was a choke, or was it not classed as a choke because for whatever was going on at the tip resulted in 3 of those big recruits only playing 1 game between them?

I don’t reckon you even know the definition of a choke if you think that was one.

You have literally just contradicted yourself, saying it was a choke because they announce some recruits and then stating that several of them didn’t play anyway. Which one is it? Sounds like you have an axe to grind pal, are you a Clarence player? Or maybe you couldn’t get a game at the top?

I, like many, dislike Clarence, I don't play anymore nor do I support anyone in that league, I actually played 150+ senior games between 2000-2010 if you must know.

It does sound like you're still a little hurt from that result a couple months back mate, so it's not a choke because for some reason your club couldn't get the recruits on the park? You seem to know a bit about the club so why don't you enlighten everyone on here about what Bundy was doing up at the club? And why these big recruits didn't play a game? Must be a few internal issues at the tip? Announcing multiple signings that didn't play a game this year and now one has recently signed at Clarence for 2025, very interesting.

Harry was hardly a big recruit mate, he played there before, just like he played at Clarence before.
Mitch ****ed the club over, hardly their fault, you’ve drawn a bow about as long as your claim they choked on the season.

Have to laugh at the SFL president.

Someone needs to explain why the “community league” is called that? Last time I checked Glenorchy is a community club also.

Was it more that Cygnet didn’t want to be in a league called Div 2? Same club that is petrified to play with the big boys.

Promotion/relegation should have been brought in. Except Cygnet got scared so went with the excuse they need to play Huonville to survive.

They then trumpet oh we won the flag with all locals. Ok, but you then go and say those locals aren’t good enough to play against a Brighton or a North Hobart?

Weak, weak leadership by the SFL. Enjoy Hobart and Claremont as Cygnet and Huonville have recruited well again. You know those community clubs…

What does he playing at Lauderdale and Clarence in previous years have to do with anything? Harry was easily Lauderdale's best forward in his last season there from what I watched, high work rate up the ground, great mark for his size and kicked goals.

I clearly stated earlier that it was a choke off the pre season signings and the talk i heard from players and supporters and I stand by that, Lauderdale already had a fair bit of talent and heading into 2024 with 11 quality signings that were announced on Facebook and 5 ex AFL listed players I see that as a choke, Lauderdale spent the money to get a flag in the last year of the TSL and most people involved in the club will admit that.

Anyway you've gotten ridden of coach that clearly had some problems at the club and have added some decent players, Goodluck for next year mate.

What are you smoking pal? At no stage was Harry Richmond ever Lauderdale’s best forward.
In his last season there he kicked 10 goals from 18 games, Siggo kicked 45 from 19 and Sticks 32 from 16.
Stop talking smack.

As I said, "from what I watched"

Gee you really get your knickers in a knot over anything about Lauderdale don't you.

You a player are you or just one of those one eyed supporters? Gee you must feel privileged to be involved in that club, can't win shit can they? Getting all these recruits on the books with Andy Lyden again this year to make sure everyones under the cap? Bit of effort to go to just to fall short again hey, hopefully you play a bit harder to get them over the line this year or yell a bit louder from the sidelines to get them up and about. Be just about into there last couple years at having a crack at the flag this year, to busy trying to recruit big and can't keep their young local talent from walking 😂

You should lay your cards on the table then nackers? Where do your allegiance’s lie? Clearly with not one of the top dogs, Hobart?

From what I've been hearing Claremont will be lucky to have a team next year, have had less than a handful of players at training, no coach, president stepping down also.
