Unlikely to happen from what I've been told and as relates to a possible Salter/Curtain forward line, haven't Brighton woken up yet to the fact that they could have Jack Riewoldt at Full Forward but it doesn't help if the ball rarely gets down there?

All very well for the Salters of the world to kick their 11 goal bags v lower ranked sides but it the big boys ya gotta do it against and nothing against Salter but v New Norfolk and Dodges Ferry just to name two, Brighton 2010 just weren't in the same league!
 
Curtain is a bloke that always kicks goals against good teams despite playing for an average side. Think he kicked 7 against the Sharks last season. I rate him very highly. I reckon that Trent Arnold from Claremont has a big future

Salter kicked more than half his season total in 2 games last season. 39 for the year, 22 of them coming against Bunna and Claremont.
 
Any Kane Waller updates? It's all gone a bit quiet and last reports were that he hadn't signed on with any other club?

Has Reeves been confirmed as another one going across from Richmond to Dodges???

How's Glenorchy's team looking? A few of the boys have ghone to NSW to play i think??

I think Griffiths was sentenced back in August, The 11th of November was only an appeal that was rejected. In August he was sentenced to 18 months, 12 non Parole ...... So he could make it back to the Sharks in time for the end of the season. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but i'm pretty sure this is right. I have also heard he has been on the weights inside and is a man mountain??? ryt and ryt

Kane trained at Lauderdale last week and apparently signed with them.

Not sure on Reefer.

i spoke to scoot a couple weeks ago he wasn't sure wat he wanted to do ,he said he would be quiet happy to stay play with his mates at dodges, he would like to play tsl but it mite be to much comitment as he has 2 young children,he said he couldn't be bothed training as of yet it don't matter with him tho he is just naturly fit!!, had a few beers with reefa sat nyt he said he is leaning to goin back to dodges, anyone got any news on the peninsula side?

Heard from a Lauderdale player last friday that Kane trained there on the tuesday. Personally I'd love it if he was to stay with the Sharks but good on him if he wants to play some TSL.

Hey Barge, I have another question about a former Claremont player. What on earth happened to Danny Jacobson? Last time I saw him was a few years back and he was battling in the twos. 6-7 years back it looked like he'd finish up being a gun forward.

Duane Jacobson.....went down the path of most of the talented 'Mont players over the years....lots of ability but couldn't be stuffed making the most of it.

Bit like Barge himself :D

he played with campaina in 2008 he only lasted 4 or 5 games sent off in most of them

I think Dodges have a training run tonight.........wonder how many and who they will get there, especially considering the weather today. Training run manybe at the Lewi? :D
 
K WALLER - Signed with Lauderdale last night apparently. Sad to see him leave the sharks but i hope he does well.
 
Yeah heard a while ago Kane to Lauderdale was pretty much a done deal. Hope he doesn't change his mind like he has done in the past! hard to get out of a contract...

Best of luck to him. He's been great for Dodges and will be for Lauderdale too.

Only Jacobson was far more undisciplined.

Sad really, pair of them could have been very good players.
 
hear dodges have picked up a few look like they are going to have good side anyone know about the east coast bombers whom is the coach:)

I don't know if it's finalised but Luke Hill will likely coach the Bombers (coached Lauderdales twos last season). Dodges are looking fairly good at the moment. Getting decent numbers at training and a lot of young kids have been going along to train as well. There's a few guys doing extra work on mondays too:thumbsu: Hopefully that continues after Christmas.

What I want to know about is the Peninsula side. Are they training, who is coaching? Anyone have a clue about them?
