I've been far and wide going from bookie to bookie availing of freebets but when it comes down to the crunch the two aforementioned books are the only ones I can rely upon.

Every book besides those two has incredibly piss poor live betting options making hedging impossible if your bet is far in front.

Bookmaker, ladbrokes, sportingbet, betstar etc are a disgrace with their limited options. I can't help thinking that I could have hedged out +53.5 last night when it was paying $7.00. Bet365 are the best with their live alternate handicaps. Too bad this "good for nothing dole bludger" had nothing in the bank to top up.

I like both sportsbet and bet365 as well. I don't do much live-betting though, mostly pre-betting (even though many of my bets go wrong :D ).

I use sportingbet as well, mostly because most of my bets that I place there win most of the time, :D Just luck I suppose.

Also their AFL odds seem to be the best I've seen. I've browsed many of the low-tier sites and they tend to have lower odds.

Yep sportsbet usually have the best lines and their promos are always most useful. Lost all respect for betstar after they stopped doing their $2 favs.

Pre betting has been killing me lately and the only reason I haven't been wiped out is because of live chases.

I love sportsbet for their promos, margin spreads and inflated lines and love bet365 for alternate lines and totals. Always great for hedging when you're way ahead and want some insurance for your line bet. The other books are just deadset useless with their live 2 market options.

lol

You're correct though, as long as you continue to lose these 2 options will be perfect.

It's the only safe option. You can make all the right plays and still lose just like you can be the better side and end up losing.

Sportsbet banned me 2 weeks after opening an account as have Palmerbet, IASBet, Bet365, Luxbet, Betezy and Sportingbet.
The only books who will take me on these days are Betstar, Ladbrokes & Pinnicle.

Sounds like you need to start sharing your bets mate. ;)

If you're betting on the ponies, they'll all soon have to bet you to win $1000 or so in NSW iirc. I know that might not be the numbers you want, but it's something.

As for the OP, I used to bet with sportingbet when I didn't know much, but I've slowly learnt they are never first up on anything I bet on and their over rounds are generally pretty uncompetitive. Love 365, can't take a bad price. Don't think I bet big enough to worry too much about my account being closed.

It's not the amount that gets you limited, it's the style

- Arbing
- Promo scalping
- Always on soft lines etc

They'll galdly take your action week in week out if you play them with a 10% rake, there's no way you can win

Why Ladbrokes - you know the rabble who only want lads they can send broke? Usually very quick to kick anyone out.

Yeah but you might put $5 on a horse that shortens and be deemed 'smart' and off to the tip you go.

Yep. Remember these companies spend millions determining unprofitable customers. Other Red Flags are:

- If you deposit more than $200
- If you bet more than $100
- If you bet within a couple of minutes of a race
- If you specialise - say in Cessnock maidens
- If you bet through a 'smart' platform like Dynamic Odds.
- If you took early prices - especially if the price shortens.

But

- They love those who bet through their phone - makes them look as if they're addicted to the punt.
- And usually don't mind you taking many of their promos IF you bet on their other markets as they target the mug with these promos.
- They are also fond of those who take on their 150% first goal scorer type markets.
