I know. I'm pulling the piss. I was a little disappointed as well. I'll put it down to the SuperQoach thread popping up first and TIF being a then-untested quantity with this kind of thing. I expect next season to be much better if he sticks at it.

Burnt by deceivingly spudly yet high scoring players like the competition leading burningdwarf (189.2) and Percel (188.3), 5 players missing games in S27 has seen team JWS' SpudQoach™ score balloon in the second half of the season. Gumbies convert Barrybran looked in trouble at the halfway mark, within striking distance of the coveted SpudQoach™ spoon and possessing a squad that threatened to increase their output in the back half of S27. A mid season recruitment of veteran Papa Juggs by the Coney Island Warriors put pave to this, as he went on to resurrect his career with the top 2 finishing club in a prime position on the wing and a respectable average of 81.5 SpudQoach™ points. With a competition topping 6 players missing games during the season, team Baz failed to make ground on the rest of the competition, offset by a clever captaincy selection that limited the damage and gave breathing space from a last placed finish.
