The Mummy question is interesting (sorry AFLOnline). If he's borderline, you'd think they'd be more worried about us this week @ Etihad rather than Pies next week at their home ground.

But the other side to that is they'd be more concerned about Grundy than Longer...

Losing Weller is a blow but I like wright think he gives his all. I think we give them a game and won't fade like the geelong mess in the last quarter. Let's beat these plastic fitzpatricks!

My god Joffa we get it, you don't like Longer. you've made your point more times than I can count and there is absolutely no questioning your overwhelming devotion to Hickey but for once could you just not bring the rucks up in a thread? Some like Hickey, some like Longer. The club likes Longer at the moment so I'm inclined to put my faith in them. Can we just agree to disagree?
Sorry, when did you become a mod.

It is relevant to the thread. FWIW i am not devoted to Hickey and think Mumford would do a job on him as well.

It is directly relevant to how the midfield will go in this game.

I wont be bullied by the likes of you or anybody on here.

I suggest you report the post or put me on ignore if you think it has broken the rules.

Otherwise, i will post what I like. Agree or disagree, but dont attempt to lord it over content, especially relevant content.

Good. Playing injured. I'd rather this than a fully fit Mummy.
Hope it affects his rucking. We neex to nullify his presence.

Need Longer to really make himself known physically. Knock the big lump aound all night. See if it can put him off his game.

100% agree. If there were ever a stage and chance he has to stand up, tonight's the night. A sore Mummy and sore tummy.

Is that Gresh v Mumford?

All these negative comments......if we want to be a good side these are the game we have to be in for 4 quarters, we played 3 quarters against them last year, if we can play and extra 20 minutes we are right in this game, they had a tough slogfest game last week and we barely got touched. Don't write us off.

You finally get a Friday night game
That's good

The game will be against a low drawing interstate team
That's bad

But it's against a good team to showcase your competitiveness
That's good

The team is gws....

This is exactly what has me excited for tonight.

Massive, huge game.

I want to stress, absolutely no judgement here. But if anybody is a little squeemish about the perhaps questionable legality of unofficial streams, I have found an entirely legal way of streaming every game, in a way that can be chromecast. Costs about $5 as a one off.

I'll only be answering PMs from people I know, btw.

If the Giants have one weakness it's that they don't have a lot of speed up forward with the 3 big forwards and Stevie J. I think Patton is the best suited for Brown Carlisle will probably have to go to Lobb due to his size which leaves Cameron. Gilbert played poorly on him last year from memory and Webster is giving away a lot of height but one of them will likely have to take him.
Tom Lee was the one who took Cameron last year and Jeremy had 5 goals up by the 10 min mark of the 2nd quarter. Gilbo did an excellent job on him a few years ago at Etihad from memory and seems the logical match-up for mine, with Brown to take Patton and Carlisle, Lobb. All of them undersized, but that's just too bad.

morning boys and girls... I may not be able to watch the game tonight, so may I say... GO SAINTS!!!!!

My possible absence is because the of the recent addition to the Canadian Saints dynasty... The little guy is resting well, as is his mother. Its our first so we are a little scared, but if he's sleeping at five in the morning here (when the game starts my time) so will I be... I'm trying to take some weight off mrs Canadian Saints shoulders, so he is my charge for the night.

Two days old and hopefully about to experience his first Saints victory!

Theres one more saints supporter (and future Center-half forward for the Canadian International team) in the world tonight!

Congrats! And just so you know, if your wife's carrying your newborn on her shoulders, she's doing it wrong. :p

Good article by everyone's favourite, Kingy, in today's Hun, where he says this is the game where we need to put a full-stop on the rebuild, take a big scalp and start our next phase as a serious footy team who are playing to win and win finals etc. He's tipped us to win by 5 points!

Definitely believe we can win this if we bring the pressure, kick well for goal and don't have any big lapses during the game. There's talk that they don't necessarily bring a lot of forward pressure (especially with Reid and Greene out), so we can exploit that and they're also tall down back (with 4 "talls"), so if we can apply a heap of forward pressure and not let them out easily we could be in business.

In other words...
