Collingwood?as far as im concerned its just another attempt by the media and/or collingwood to stir the pot ahead of a big game for the saints...
Exactly. Can't see him saying any of this unless he has evidence.
Yes seems that way ... if he can't prove his allegations with hard evidence then its his word versus theirs
Mr Gladman is setting himself up for a pretty embarrasing fall ... just a matter of time
as far as im concerned its just another attempt by the media and/or collingwood to stir the pot ahead of a big game for the saints...
ie. pregnant school girl... non story
maybe the cop is a geelong fan... pretty funny time for it all to pop up
Collingwood?
Maybe he photocopied it to protect himself.I guess that depends on whether he is on Channel 9's payroll
I mean seriously how can you prove that something went missing from your desk for 7 hours .... 6 years down the track
How can you prove you found police papers concerning the case in your photocopier that you didn't leave there .... 6 years down the track
I see no real benefit from him to bring this up, it's not like he didn't put his name to the allegations.
Maybe he photocopied it to protect himself.
MONEY?? The media is reporting he is a former detective
Maybe the GFC hit him hard....
What the hell makes you say that? He would be on the media once a year and hasn't said anything bad. This was always dubbed as a cover up from the start. The word around the trap it was unofficially settled out of court with money to stay quiet.
Just looking at Milne and how he portays himself, speaks, he doens't appear like an very honest person.
Whats the saying "where there's smoke, there's fire"
it is notoriously hard for a rape case to reach a point of prosecution....
some quick figures:
1 in 6 women have/will experience attempted/completed rape (US figures)
only 16% of rapes/sexual assaults are reported to police
of those which are reported, only 6.5% end in a conviction
even if you're known to the victim, even if it happened in broad day light, even if you're a famous footballer, statistically you're extremely unlikely to be found guilty of raping someone... this is largely due tot he fact that its humiliating for the victim to come forward in the first place, followed by the difficulty in proving not only that the sexual assault occurred, but that it was also non-consenting...
lol to whoever said: "Unlucky for the Saints if this starts up again"
you're a dud
After the Lovett incident does that mean Milne will be sacked should a charge be laid?
What does any of the above have to do with anything?
There is no substance whatsoever to any 'new' information stemming from the cop's interview. Nothing that he said in anyway even vaguely suggested that anything happened that compromised the police's ability to put a case together - if they had eveidence that anything happened then charges would have been laid, end of story.
No amount of attempted coersion from possibly-St Kilda-barracking police officers, no amount of alleged photocopying of evidence, no amount of alleged disclosure of evidence to the defendants - all of which are shadowy allegations from a clearly disgruntled ex-cop with a chip on his shoulder about something and nothing more - would have any impact on whether or not Milney and Joey had a case to answer. They didn't then and they didn't now, no matter what bullshit Channel 9 will dig up in their feeble attempt to spike ratings...
All this does is provide pleasure to a ******* minority of opposition supporters on here and at the footy on the weekends who get off on this sort of shit. You know who you are, and if you're reading this and you're not sure, then yes, it's probably you....
Am I the only one who doesn't think it's a coincidence that Channel 9 somehow got this exclusive? Eddie McGuire payback for the fallout stemming from the spiteful clash earlier this season?
