That's usual practice these days isn't it? Physical versions are just annoying and clunky DRM checks.

Apparently there are copies floating around so watch out for spoilers.
Download went surprisingly quick. Usually the EA Desktop app is very stop/start for me in the past but after a couple hours only about 10% to go. I'll do that tomorrow and no doubt there will be some 481583717485gb day one patch to go too.

TLOU has made me jaded about day 1 releases. I think I might wait a couple of weeks for the patches and to see how the game is performing.

Still room for optimisation with a day one patch. It's also hard to know if that's an actual PC version issue or just one nerd with outdated drivers (NVIDIA just released an updated game ready driver for this only a week or two ago) or a poo system.

From what I’ve seen in review it sounds like the performance is rough, PC in particular. What is the last big game that had a smooth launch on PC?
That aside reviews were super positive on gameplay and story.

I'm buying a physcial copy wonder how much of the game is on the disc worried it might like COD with only 75 mega bytes on the disc
