Best news ever. The tigers are back in 2009. Ill tell you what there is a little bit of a buzz around the Hobart Footy Club that hasnt been there for some time. The reinstatement of the tigers was initialised by a huge contingent turning up to last nights AGM. They have also been able to secure some quality young players who arent the marquee signings of other clubs but will be there for a long time. Also Lance Spaulding as been contracted as a liason officer to all coaches and football department. Get on the Tigers!

I was stuck at work last night so couldn't attend but I was told that it was very well attended and the place was buzzing.
I'm glad to see the place starting to move forward and getting on with the task of rebuilding.
I'm also glad the divisiveness is now at an end and we can all move forward in the same direction and learn from all this.
Looks like I'll be back up there again volunteering, looking forward to it

Did i hear right on the news that when launching the TSL code of conduct, that two Launceston premiership players are facing court for selling extacy? This is probably old news, and as i kind of follow Launceston teams and would like to become involved with Launceston, i'd like to know who it is. How the club deals with it will have ramafications as to if i do become involved.

Brennan Savage has been charged, he was caught selling in a Launceston nightclub, I think to an undercover, not sure who else has been charged, if anyone

Kingpin, if you are insinuating that Nth Hobart F.C is run by a bunch of snobs well mate you are off the mark here.

Simply well educated footy heads more like it. And no the backbencher was not DG.

If Hobart become the Tigers again I promise to do a full lap of the TCA in my speedos at half time of the first game of the season up there together with with tripod and camera in hand. I would suggest you be at the game and get on the mic and do the commentary of my style. I would happily take out a membership as well.

You can hold me to that.

So what's the go up there is it going to go to the vote on the Tiger/Lion issue. Hope so.

On Statewide well I am all for it as well and like yourself would have preferred a 2010 start. Then again AFL TAS had to make the hard decision on the Devils and well lets face it they made the right one in the end.
