Who is the youngest player to get a Brownlow vote?

Jayson Daniels holds the top three places since game by game votes were first recorded in 1984.

17y93d v Geelong 1988 R8, 1 vote
17y99d v Melbourne R9 1988, 2 votes
17y141d v Carlton RR15 1988, 1 vote

But as Daics says, the answer is Tim Watson, who was 16y45d as at his final game of 1977. Next on the list is Simon Madden, who was 16y244d at the last game of his debut year. Little-known Sid Catlin of Melbourne likely picked up a vote at 16y232d when kicking 1.8 v South Melbourne. If not, it was the week before or the week after.

Following last week's game, Carlton has now completed its involvement in Friday night games for 2015 (although there is the threat it could play Hawthorn again on Friday night in Round 23).

Carlton's six Friday night games have resulted in losses by 69 points, 75 points, 77 points, 60 points, 30 points and 138 points. This is a total of 449 points or an average of nearly 75 points per game (Carlton also lost the opening round Thursday night match by 27 points).

Has any team had a worse record in Friday night games in one season?

What is the most players a club has used in any one season (and what is the fewest) - and has any club used every player on its list?

The figures for Players Used can be found here ^. A click on the team name will sort the list so it's easy to see the high and low figures for each club.

62 for St Kilda (1911) and 24 for Collingwood (1905) appear to be the highest and lowest.

There was a players' strike at St Kilda in 1911 which no doubt contributed to the abnormally high number of players being used:-

Bonus bit: St Kilda played Carlton a few days after the player walkout and the story of how they got their 2nd and last goal in a heavy defeat is a classic:-

A sharp shower of rain drove most of the Carlton men forward, where the ball was, Jamieson, the blues' full back, was taking shelter under an umbrella held over the fence. Suddenly through the mist of rain the ball shot over the centre line. Young Sellars saw it coming, and ran out to meet it, while Jamieson, quite unexpecting a St. Kilda raid, huddled under the sheltering umbrella. When he did see Sellars running to the goals he boldly dashed into the rain, but Sellars adroitly dodged him and gently kicked the ball between the posts. St. Kilda had scored their second and last goal.

Looking at the Form Guide for this week's games, I noticed that North Melbourne kicked 24 goals 5 behinds (149) against Carlton in Round 16 in 2012.

Is this the fewest number of behinds for a team kicking 24 goals?

What is the record for fewest behinds for each goal total?

I have noticed that Richmond have had 10 consecutive game where the score has not exceeded 100 for either side. Does anyone know the longest streak of games without 100 being scored in a game. I know it would've happened frequently in the early part of last century.

South Melbourne's first 122 matches (1897-1904) resulted in scores under 100 for both sides.

Next longest run is Fitzroy's 77 games 1910-14.

Post-WW2 it's Geelong, 25 matches 1964-65.

The Richmond record is 13 from R5-17 1952.
