Interestingly, Brisbane's Reuben William is said to have a birthdate of 31/12/1997 according to many sources. The Brisbane website still has him with that DOB, as does AFL Tables:- http://afltables.com/afl/stats/players/R/Reuben_William.html , Australian Football and Pro-Stats (also Wikipedia). AFL Record Season 2016 and AFL Record AFL Fantasy - Your Guide to 2016 agree with that.
However, the round 1 Football Record (and a couple from later rounds I've looked at) has 07/10/1997, FootyWire and Draftguru also have October 7, 1997.
I presume that his DOB was corrected a few months ago, and the one now being shown in the Record is correct, but it would be nice to know for sure.
Good find.
Got me curious what DOB I have in a spreadsheet of all this years players.
Will have to check and update if it is indeed something different to what I have him as.
I'm pretty sure that will turn out to be the correct DOB. I sent an email to Col Hutchinson at the AFL a couple of hours ago asking if he could clarify the situation, hopefully I'll get a reply soon enough, and of course I'll post the response in here, and let the likes of AFL Tables know.Interesting, I see I have him as 7th of October when just looked up youngest players that played the round on weekend.

This is what AFL Prospectus has for his age too.
Richmond conceded 9 goals to Hawthorn in R17 Q4 and 8 goals to GWS in R18 Q1.
Last 5 times a team conceded 17+ goals across consecutive quarters?
I remember. Disappointed Essendon didn't get to 200. GC conceded 18 goals in 2 quarters twice in 2011.Gold Coast almost done it in a single quarter against Essendon in their first year.
TwoWhat's the record for the most players with 40+ disposals in a single game?

Last time a team scored 67 or less across two games as Richmond has just done (44 and 23)?
When was the last time a team scored only one behind in two separate quarters of the same game, as achieved by Richmond this weekend?
Scores were almost a mirror image of each other too, 61 winning score each to North and the Dogs respectively, and 45 was the Dog's effort earlier this year, the Kangas 47 today.
We'd have to go back to the dim dark 50's would we not for a combined aggregate in two games of a H & A season delivering just 214 points in 240 minutes of footy?
*Paul*, do you have these stats? There were no multiple goal kickers in today's Bulldogs vs North game. When was the last time this happened?
Geelong won and went from 6th to 8th in R20, 1994: http://afltables.com/afl/seas/1994.html#20GWS won and dropped from second to fourth on the ladder. It would be fifth if Geelong had scored 42 more points. When was the last time a team dropped two or more rungs despite winning, in the second half of the season?
