If he's on FB, maybe his DOB is public. Otherwise, might be able to check his wall around those dates to see if anyone wished him HB.

Got me curious what DOB I have in a spreadsheet of all this years players.
Will have to check and update if it is indeed something different to what I have him as.

Interesting, I see I have him as 7th of October when just looked up youngest players that played the round on weekend.

I'm pretty sure that will turn out to be the correct DOB. I sent an email to Col Hutchinson at the AFL a couple of hours ago asking if he could clarify the situation, hopefully I'll get a reply soon enough, and of course I'll post the response in here, and let the likes of AFL Tables know.
 
Richmond conceded 9 goals to Hawthorn in R17 Q4 and 8 goals to GWS in R18 Q1.

When was the last time a team scored only one behind in two separate quarters of the same game, as achieved by Richmond this weekend?
 
The Sydney v Fremantle game today had Josh Kennedy with 45 disposals, David Mundy with 44, Lachie Neale with 42 and Dan Hannebery with 41. What's the record for the most players with 40+ disposals in a single game?
 
Currently, Fremantle are 10L 3W 5L and will most likely finish 10L 3W 9L.

Which teams have lost 5 or more consecutive games twice in a season?

Has a team ever lost 4, 5 or 6 consecutive games three times in a season?

Regarding Brisbane's Reuben William, Col Hutchinson from the AFL has confirmed that his DOB is 31/12/1997:-

At the AFL we have the correct version (31/12/1997).

** ** is responsible for the AFL Record incorrect entry. We have notified ** to arrange the amendment.

I have forwarded a copy of the email to the Footywire website as they are showing 07/10/1997.

Melbourne scored 70 across two games in 2014.
GWS scored 69 across two games in 2012.

But the winner is Port!
They scored 53 points across two games in 2011 (21 + 32).

They surely also own the record for biggest losing margin across two games with 303 (138 + 165).
 
Anyone know how to find out how many players have played 80 or more games before there 23rd birthday and how many of them went on to play 300 games ?

I have discovered that in recent seasons there are three teams who have actually performed worse than this, scoring one behind in one quarter and being scoreless in another.

2015, round 5 GWS vs. West Coast: scoreless in 2nd quarter, one behind in 4th quarter
2014, round 14 Brisbane Lions vs. Fremantle: scoreless in 2nd quarter, one behind in 1st quarter
2013, round 4 Western Bulldogs vs. Adelaide: scoreless in 2nd quarter, one behind in 3rd quarter
 
Scores were almost a mirror image of each other too, 61 winning score each to North and the Dogs respectively, and 45 was the Dog's effort earlier this year, the Kangas 47 today.

We'd have to go back to the dim dark 50's would we not for a combined aggregate in two games of a H & A season delivering just 214 points in 240 minutes of footy?

The two Essendon vs. Footscray games from 1989 produced a combined aggregate of only 125.

round 13: Essendon 3.10 (28) vs. Footscray 3.5 (23)
round 18: Essendon 7.9 (51) vs. Footscray 3.5 (23)
 
In the AFL, the longest droughts of finals meetings between teams is 91 years as Hawthorn & Richmond, Carlton & Bulldogs and Bulldogs & Richmond have never played a final, and with the Tigers and Blues out of finals contention, it won't happen this year. Taking into account teams to have met in finals, the longest current drought is the 76 years of Melbourne vs. Richmond which last met in a final when playing off in the 1940 Grand Final. The Demons and Tigers also have the longest drought of no finals series containing both teams, with the last finals series containing both Melbourne and Richmond taking place in 1941. Obviously, this won't change this year.

In the WAFL, the West Perth Falcons and Perth Demons hold both these records. West Perth last played Perth in a final in 1976, with the last WAFL finals series containing both the Falcons and Demons taking place in 1978.

Does anyone know the equivalent droughts in the SANFL and the VFL/A?

GWS won and dropped from second to fourth on the ladder. It would be fifth if Geelong had scored 42 more points. When was the last time a team dropped two or more rungs despite winning, in the second half of the season?
 
What's the smallest 'biggest lead'? 2002 GF was 9 points the maximum margin, any lower than this?
