Still wouldnt mind Kosi if we could get him cheap, with Kerr off the table and rok a no curtainty i think we should look at Kosi, if we trade players like fish and thornton then we might be able to get him with a 2nd rounder, what do others think?

not a kosi fan reminds me of fisher ....every time you think he is improving he puts in a shocker and every time he has a big quarter he goes missing for the next 2 at least.......soft as butter too

different players but daniel harris and ryce shaw appeal and would cost less i would imagine.......would love to get shaw and turm him around bit like scotland

rok ......no way he has kicked 176 goals in 163 games we need goal kicking forward flanker types like a corey jones

Why dont i just lop a head off one of my chooks & let it run around with no peripheral vision & no idea wot its doing ?

Stick with Cloke at CHF - big heart, takes a nice grab occasionally & can kick goals, doesnt mind using his bulk & is still pretty young.

then use whatever pick we would lose to draft more kids with potential

Kosi hasnt been the same since his head injury. I dont think he looks at all comfortable on the field, and seems to lack an awareness of whats happening around him. Id rather see Cloke at CHF than Kosi as well.

Agree with what you are all saying, but if we could get him with a 3rd round pick would you take him?

Big pass on Kosi. Despite the fact that he is still contracted by St.Kilda, and they would want far too much compensation for him, in his time in the AFL system, I reckon I have only seen him play half a dozen good games. He's also to injury prone, and his lack of awareness out on a football ground is scary.

Pretty bold statement.

St.Kilda stated last week he was off the trade table as was Del Santo.

No I wouldn't trade Fisher and Thornton for him. Fisher has just signed a contract. People forget that. Besides, our 2nd rounder is set aside for Warnock.

To be honest we need more big bodied players. Warnock ain't one of them. What I like about Kosi is his versatility to play along the spine where required. Yes he has his shrotcoimings but his price today is as low as it gets. Did not figure in the Saints best and fairest top ten whilst being on a decent packet. We need to pounce and take a risk on him. It wa only last year opposition supporters were laughing at Hawthorn picking up Dew. They rolled the dice and it paid dividends. If the Warnock deal falls through then Kosi is our man.

The issue with Kosi is that he's injury prone, and his awareness out on the field is dismal. Despite that, i'm still a massive fan, but the price we'd have to give would be way too high.

In the end, he wouldn't be worth it.

A big No to Kosi.

The saints would want to much for him based on name factor and not on any real proven ability. Ie we would pay way over the top for him.

In a nutshell - has had ample time to show his goods, and frankly - hasnt.

Pass.

wow..........

I think we should really be looking at him, I think he will blossom at our club. He will also take another decent big backman to man him up, freeing up Fev even further. I draw a parrallel to Ottens who was nearly finished at Richmond, people were writing him off etc etc. Left the Richo dominated forward line and has never looked back. Kosi will leave the Riewodlt dominated forward line and kick butt, remember when he had the purple patch Riewoldt wasn't playing. Fev doesnt roam through the whole forward line like Riewoldt so that wont be a problem. Bring on Kosi, we can afford to offer up Thronton (tho i like him) with a sweetner, 3rd round etc.

Would need to find a first rounder at least if we were going to make a play for him.

Couldn't agree more :thumbsu:

I agree he does look lost, however i reckon its because he hasn't been able to have a role purely defined for him. Is he a ruckman, (i dont think he is) or a power forward? St Kilda's game plan does not suit him either as well as having Riewoldt in his way all the time. I say let him loose and free of having to worry about other factors, give him a clearly defined role of power forward, so he doesnt think about anything else. Of all the players we are chasing he would be the best for us, I have no doubt.
