Nic Nat- A - will dominate the ruck and sit on opponents' heads in the goalsquare, when he's resting.

Swift - A - Will add another 5 or so kilos and will not be quite so easy to tackle. 191cm playmaker.

M Brown- B - I think will end up being a very useful assistant to Kennedy.

S Selwood- C - Depth player

B Sheppard- A - Pace, skill, courage and ability to read the play.

L Shuey- A - complete footballer

W Schofield- B - extremely versatile defender who offers excellent defence and good attack. Has had one stuff up in his entire career to date and fans have jumped off him. Idiots.

E Mac- A - Could well end up AA fullback at some stage.

C Masten- B - Will provide the Eagles a presence at an astonishing number of contests.

Paddy- C - depth player

B Ebert- B - Lack of pace will hold him back from reaching great heights, but excellent understanding of the game will ensure he has value to the team.

Jesus theres been some rose-tinted hyping of Houlihan in recent weeks. Quick, runs hard and then...kicks it straight back to the opposition. Hardly a trait we dont already have enough of.

All I have seen is someone who has very little awareness on the field ( which I admit can be learnt ) and someone who hasn't hurt opposition teams yet.

Great topic and I think we all need to be patient with the younguns because we have had our fair share of duds over the years, hint: McDougal, Green, Wooden, Bedford, Barlett, Crabb ( how fitting ) and the list just keeps going on and on.

Bad recruitment has left us with the slowest west coast side I have ever seen......not one midfielder we have has any leg speed....

we are slower than richmond......

bad recruitment is to blame...masten was and is bad choice and so is swift (what an oxy that is)

we are far too top heavy

ok solutions....trade kerr...get some value for him......we need guys that can run and bounce and run the lines and finish

Karakour would be good bargain pick up......in fact our anti indigenous recruitment strategy hasn't paid off.........and its quite obvious we have state full of quick indigenous players yet they somehow end up all over east....why is that......

we recruit white junk players........Im sorry but its plainly evident and quite deliberate strategy

Trade Hansen and Mckinely...again we need 2 quick small forwards....keep Wilkes.....hes a very serviceable players.....delist or trade embley (someone might take him)....we need to rebuild now.....

pick weedon.....lets see if he can play.....swift needs time yes but hes not even a great kick at all.....we need to build a side that can win 10 games at subi and snatch 3 or 4 on the road......that is done with leg speed and finishers

the back line is ok it ttries darn hard...the fwd line is ok considering the way the ball comes in......the midfeild needs leg speed....line breakers and we can go fwd....trade Kerr should be the mission

EA, if you didnt have history i'd think you were joking.

so basically we're going to have players that resemble Cousins, J.Selwood, Cooney, Hurn MkII, Sam mitchell, C.Cornes, Sewell, K.Cornes, Scarlett, Ablett and Pendlebury in the one team.

we should pretty much win the next 10 flags with that list.

some of those comparisons are horrible by the way. swift and cousins play very different games, i'd also say that cousins was a certified A-grader.

Cooney-Houlihan is just so far off the mark its not funny also.
