That's my point.The team has been successful but no one gives a stuff.Go to the Central Coast where people actually follow the game passionately instead of blowing millions in a city where most people wouldn't know Matt Orford if he bit their nose off.That is why it is a failed experiment.The NRL should give the existing clubs more money to stop players going to England instead.

A Central Coast team failed too as did one on the Gold Coast (a couple of times). The game's not always followed passionately even in it's heartland.

Thinking back, I think the Storm were treated as if they were some level of royalty...themselves, the 'Roos and South Melbourne Soccer Club, were given a huge civic reception, as the 3 teams had been successful in their respective national competitions.

I think you're right, remember both the Storm players and the Roo's at the same big reception.
