By those collars, there's a few 2013 jumpers amongst the 2014s.

I didn't realise but the crows logo is really above the sponsor logo not to the side

It was like that at the start of the season, but was then back to normal afterwards. Need to look into what happened there.

Could the AFL have gotten involved and banned that positioning of the logo? You never see any club logos on the front of the shorts..

In 2007 the Crows also had the adidas logo above the AFL logo on their shorts.

Collingwood didn't have their shorts like this, this was a positioning error by adidas on those Crows shorts despite having the same template as the Collingwood shorts.

Those shorts were only worn in Round 1 and 2, so that could be a possibility.
I think that those shorts were produced before the shorts sponsor in OTR was locked in, so the Crows logo may have been moved on that batch of shorts to give more space for the sponsor logo to be heat printed on until Puma made the batch of shorts with the sponsor sublimated on - if that makes sense.

So to promote AFL in NSW and the ACT they thought it would be a good idea to take a picture at AAMI Stadium

They were really pushing the name Southern Saints at the time.
There was a push to accept this if they moved away from the StKilda name (as they'd moved away from the StKilda suburb)

First it was the StKilda logo and the Southern Saints, then they released the new version.
Then, when it all sort of fizzled out, they kept the logo as a secondary thing for a couple of years.
