Travis Johnstone is a bit of a strange cookie.

Karl Langdon was a complete knob.

Quinten Lynch seems like a strange unit.

Very nice bloke. Genuine country lad from Esperance way.

And perhaps not the strangest, but certainly one of the funniest - Sam Kekovich. His spot on "The Fat" used to crack me up. Shame that show went commercial as it was the best sports show running at the time by so far it wasn't funny (no pun intended).

Never met him and at around 11 years old at the time of him playing would not have cared at the time. But as you said good entertainment but no doubt a disruption to the club during his stay.

Was it just Melb and Geelong. I remember him getting on the nerves of the geelong coach at the time....a minister if I remember?? Can't remember the name.

And St Kilda as well.
The ex-president of our football club during the 90's who's just relocated back to Hobart this year played for St Kilda with Jackson, Joffa Cunningham I think it was and Trevor Barker etc during the 1980's sometime.
Told us a fair few stories about Jacko in his time at the Saints over a few beers during this season.
Definitely a goalguts and a very, very strange individual from what he was saying.

PS: Danny Southern ended up converting to the Muslim faith and moved to the Middle-East somewhere.

Cameron Wood is a shocker of a bloke. Saw him and a few of the Collingwood boys at Cheers one Tuesday evening and the guy was in shocking form with the ladies. It hit about 2am and he was getting desperate, we heard the line "Im an AFL player, I play for Collingwood". No one believed him.

Went in for this kiss and was shut down hard by one of the most ugliest women you have ever seen. Still have a photo of it to this day. Absolute no hoper with the ladies and not the greatest smooth talker either.

And that's saying a lot, considering Rebecca Wilson was prominently involved.

Started at Richmond, then Melbourne,St.Kilda and Geelong..

Poor bloke no wonder he was odd he only had one testicle.

Outta sight, outta mind. I haven't seen him for years. I suppose he is in the media or something over there.

Yeah he is and he still spruiks the Eagles to the point many of them must find embarrassing. Supposedly a sports journo or commentator or something. First class knob jockey.

Hard to beat mark Jackson for strange. I remember hanging over the boundary at the North end of East Freo Oval winding him up big time during the Derbies.

He would take two marks, kick two goals and generally look magnificent for 10 minutes....then we'd finally get to him.

After he started hitting himself in the head, you knew you had him. He was hopeless after that. Its amazing what beer, crazy mates and Jacko could do to a Saturday afternoon.
