How fat is he right now?
Surely he is the fattest player in the league? I cannot name any other player who is even close...the days of chubby footballers are gone...apart from Dew.

He hasn't been a BIG kick for at least 3 years now. He would probably just scrape it in from 50m now. Fat overrated bastard

he unloads the drop punts from 70 in warm up and they sail straight through over the net.

thing is, he isnt a selfish player, and unless a runner went out when he is 60+ out, he will never take a shot, and wil lalways pass off.

he is chunky, yes, no way is he fat. meet the bloke in person then comment on it.

He must be devastated that he hasn't been able to get a game all year - oh wait, he has one more game to play

Dew is a pretty handy player - but he IS a fat arse isn't he. Haven't seen a rack like that since Dean Rioli

LOL@dork fans who reckon he isn't!

i can not understand why he hasnt lost weight this year with all the trainin he looks like he has got bigger as the season has gone on must be a kfc on the way home from trainin the bloke is a disgrace to afl think of how hard the hawks would be workin this year and they have to put up with a guy like this bringing them down has hardly touched it this year i know all the hawks will stick up for him but if he played for any other side they would be the first people on here baggin him out like they did with whitnall and rioli and that but dew makes them guys look like nicole ritchie lose some weight and show some commitment for god sake its not hard to lose weight i can see him costing the hawks big time next week maybe they need to get the maccas sign back on the footy that might get him near it

Oh dear.

OH. DEAR.

Chunky, fat, same thing. Hes over weight. Hes probably at least 5 kilos over his last playing weight at the power, and he was porking out then. Hes got a hereditary weight issue so its not entirely his fault and hes worked hard to keep his weight down all his career, but hes defiantely overweight at the moment. That guernsey hugs in all the wrong places.

Well...he has done his hammy three times is it?

Hope he kicks a few this weekend.

He might be overweight, but he should be able to shed a few of those kilos this off season - thats if he really does want to make a true comeback that is somewhat successful. He is an excellent kick. Outstanding kick. I think the post that says he isnt selfish is true. Wheneven he gets the ball 60-70m out the crowd and everyone want him to have a ping, but he never does, he awlays plays the percentages.

So coming back into the game after a year off,
losing 20kgs,
being out through hamstring injury not once but twice this year, but still being in hawks first 22 and
now looking at playing in another grand final

Is not enough to say he has made a successful comeback. Thank christ you are not my boss, nothing would ever be good enough.

Jesus.. PLEASE learn how to use full stops, PLEASE!

Seriously I love Stewie but he is a bit on the fat side. However when a player has the footy smarts and kicking ability of Stewie he is able to compensate for his lack of pace and mobility. He is also very adept at using that big arse to advantage. His body work and positioning is excellent. No doubt if he has a full pre season next year and can manage to keep away from injury he will be fitter again next year.

I think it is great to see that there is still room in the game for a footballer like Stewie and who doesnt love seeing a 60m drop punt pin-point a leading forward lace out. I bet the Hawks forwards do.

Maybe he doesnt have the confidence to let go anymore after pinging his hammy trying to bomb one from 60 in Perth earlier this year.

Amazing how all the spiteful, jealous character come out from under their rocks at this time of year.

"Itsy bitsy spider climbed up the water spout...."
But couldn't complete his climb because Stuart Dew was stuck in the pipe?

Sorry
