You'd like to think with a full-list available next year we could cover for him. If we hit the ground running he may need to fight his way back into the side (he could be out anywhere between 4-8 weeks due to the skunkiness of the MRP). I'm wondering if Morabito would be a chance?

Subes going with the old 'fish hook' deserves to take his medicine. I was pretty shocked at that myself. Naturally the flock of WCE fans I watched loved it though, he'll forever be known as ol' fish hook Subes now.

I remember a similar incident to Suban earlier in the season. Petrie on Clarke. Suban should get exactly the same as Petrie.

I remember that too Petrie wasnt even looked at when it looked he was going for the eyeballs as opposed to a cheek pinch

Sorry, but it was an ordinary act by Subes. Would have preferred him to show his aggression, by winning a few more contested possessions.

Suban needs take his punishment. But I remembered he was the one pinned on the ground. Not an easy position to "intentionally".

Also, if his case is to referred directly to Tribunal then Cyril's chicken wing must also be the same (Judd's was)

As for Suban... Hate to say it - but he deserves to go straight to the tribunal. No place in the game for that shit.

Yes, he's passionate.
Yes, he bleeds for the jumper.
Yes, he's tough and he puts his body on the line.
Yes, he flies the flag when he needs to.
Yes, it was a GF and emotions were high.
Yes, he's one of my favourites...

But sorry - he overstepped the mark with trying to rip a guy's cheek off. Stupid, stupid thing to do.

Watch it again closley - take note of what Mitchell is doing to him - He was on the ground, pinned and Mitchell was doing likewise to his rib cage - everybody just focussed in on subs trying to get mitchell to stop him with his only free hand - I reckon if they take into account mitchells actions subs should be right to plead self defence...

Yeah I would have to agree it was very ordinary but considering what Rioli and Petrie got you would've thought he would get off.

While I like Suban, he's not a star player like Fyfe or Pavlich, and his role should be relatively easy to cover while he serves his time.

It was mentioned in one article that if he was not sent straight to the tribunal, he would have got 6 weeks which the tribunal felt it would have been too tough.

I expect him to get 3-4 weeks.
